Welcome to the practice of Douglas S. Robinson, DPM, FACFAS, your experienced podiatrist in Campbell, CA. We hope you find our website informative and helpful as you search for a Bay Area Podiatrist you can trust. We offer specialized treatments for plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, ingrown toenails, flat feet, and bunions/hammertoe correction.
We're confident you'll find an unmatched quality of care from the foot and ankle specialists at our office. When a toenail is ingrown, it is curved and grows into the skin, usually at the nail borders (the sides of the nail). Heel pain is most often caused by plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present.

Services
We offer advanced state-of-the-art technology and treatment in a warm and caring environment. Expertise you can trust. Shock Wave (ESWT) and Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment or EPAT is an innovation setting a new standard in the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. The technology is based on unique sets of pressure waves that trigger the body's own repair mechanisms to stimulate natural healing.
You can either type your information directly onto our forms or print them first, then handwrite them. Your first visit to Foot and Ankle Doctor establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor.
Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment or EPAT uses pressure waves to stimulate the metabolism, enhance blood circulation and accelerate the healing process. Tissue gradually regenerates and eventually heals. This non-invasive treatment can be used for acute or chronic plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, shin splints and other tendon/muscle pains.
Torsional stability should be maintained so the shoe cannot be twisted like a wet dishrag. Evaluate shoes carefully before purchasing. A deep, firm heel counter provides more support and stability. Purchase shoes in the afternoon. Performance footwear sizing should be to 1 full shoe size longer than the norm to allow room for push off and swelling.

Let me just start by saying Dr. Robinson is amazing. I called late on a Friday evening and was able to secure an early appointment the following Tuesday. I had been in agonizing pain for about five weeks and was unsure of how to treat my injury after being wrongly diagnosed at the ER. Dr Robinson was very thorough in understanding my injury and clinically diagnosing it through a series of tests. What was amazing was that he had his own x-ray and ultrasound machines in office which save me a ton of time and walking (limping).
All the way from the front desk staff (thank you Jai!!) to how they handled

Dr. Robinson and his staff were absolutely wonderful! They were able to help me out quickly to resolve the issue of my ingrown toenail. His stuff in the front Renee and Jae were super friendly and helpful. Dr. Robinson was informative patient and made me feel comfortable and heard. My overall experience was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend to anybody who is out there searching for some much needed relief!

I recently decided that it was finally time to correct a rather severe bunion that I've been ignoring for years. I was definitely nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Robinson took the time to really listen to all of my concerns and answer any questions that I had.
The day of surgery went quite well. Dr. Robinson and the rest of the staff at the surgical center were extremely nice and really set my mind at ease. I had one question come up over the weekend after surgery and Dr. Robinson was easy to get in touch with and thoroughly answered my question. I was back to light exercise within 2 weeks

Dr. Robinson is great! I was hobbling along with pain in the back of my heel for years, and I finally went in to Dr. Robinson. He's been working with me since last summer, and was able to provide short-term and long-term relief. I'm now hiking every weekend - something I never imagined I would be able to do! Dr. Robinson and his staff are all very friendly and supportive, and I recommend them to anyone who is struggling with foot, heel, or ankle pain. You don't have to live with pain! Go see Dr. Robinson, and then look for me on the hiking trails!

Competence, humor, and a personal follow up call! My experience was excellent. Dr Robinson didn't end up treating me but his exam led him to refer me to a very good vascular specialist. The specialist found what Dr Robinson was suspicious of during his exam. Thank you very much for quickly acting on your suspicion, and the great referral. Dr Robinson called the vascular Dr. and also called me the same evening to make sure I was going to be seen the next day. I rarely write a review but wanted to let all know that Dr Robinson is also well connected and knows other good Drs. and actively works in

I began seeing Dr. Robinson a few years ago for heel pain. He prescribed orthotics and my pain was gone quickly. I had a bunion that had been getting worse so Dr. Robinson did a bunionectomy a few months ago. People had told me that their bunion surgery by other podiatrists was very painful. Dr. Robinson and his wonderful assistant Jay told me to follow their instructions which I did and I had hardly any pain or swelling. I'm just sorry I waited so long to have the surgery! Dr. Robinson is an excellent surgeon who is also very caring. His assistant Jay is so nice and I always have a good experience
