We began in New York City under the name Queens Auto Glass, one of the largest distributors in the area. In 1984, Queens Auto Glass relocated to San Diego, California and opened under Express Auto Glass. Over 48 years later, Express Auto Glass continues to serve both coasts. Each automobile manufacturer has distinct and specific ways they make windshields for their cars and trucks, but how a windshield is made tends to be the same across the board. The end result of properly constructed windshield, is that the glass stays in one piece. The windshield is molecularly bonded with sealant to the frame of the car, which is completely water and air tight.

Express Auto Glass recommends replacing windshields with cracks; however, some are repairable. They must be smaller in diameter than a nickel and be out of the driver's visibility zone.

Express Auto Glass was great! Elan was very helpful on the phone and scheduled an appointment next day. They came to the house, put in new front windshield and left once completed. Windshield was perfect and could finally see with no cracks again, haha. Thanks Elan and Express Auto Glass. Will recommend to friends and family.

Service seemed fine, but i found it frustrating that repair guy never wore a mask, even while working in my car for an hour and talking to me about the cost. So if I need to drive the car today I could potentially get Covid from the guy. A year into the pandemic that's just stupid, not to mention unsafe for me and my family, and probably against the law. He also spent the whole time chatting on the phone with his headphones on, even when I was trying to talk with him about the job. I haven't driven the car yet (since I don't want covid), but I guess the job was OK, but just an

Great experience! Had the back windshield with defrost and dark tint on my 08' Honda CRV replaced after it was broken. I requested several quotes here on Yelp yesterday and they responded in under 10 mins with great quote ($100 cheaper than the next offer!) from Elan & set me up with an appointment at my home the next day.
Tech was on time, friendly & had the whole job done in just 30 mins!

Elan was very quick and responsive throughout the entire process. I initially wanted a windshield repair service but the crack was so bad that I went with the replacement option. After meeting up with him, I was give a price breakdown and my options in the beginning. Overall, it was very easy to get my windshield replaced and I would highly recommend these guys if you need quick service!!!! Thanks again guys.

Express Auto Glass really is express! I requested quotes from 4 companies on Monday 10am. Elan responded immediately with follow up questions and before noon I received the quote for both after market and OEM. I chose OEM. Shortly after I approved the quote, I was scheduled for an appointment to install Tuesday afternoon with a 2 hour window. The friendly installer (Juan) arrived toward the end of that timeframe and completed the windshield replacement in 45 minutes. I'm thankful for the quick turn around because this windshield was on a rental car which hertz said it was my responsibility
