You don't have to be a Bloodhound to find the right home inspector - but it sure helps to have one to make sure. We decided on Arkansas after visiting the Hot Springs area a few times during weekend trips taken from Kansas City, MO where I attended professional school. After graduation we packed up the trucks and moved to the Little Rock area and opened a chiropractic practice in Sherwood - then bought a house in Maumelle.
Every weekend we would come back to the lake and to Hot Springs. 19 years later I retired from my practice and we moved to the Hot Springs area! We have settled in Hot Springs Village and really enjoy it. The lakes, the golfing, the trail system, etc. Retirement was difficult for me, more so than I had ever dreamed.

Mark and I had a conversation prior to the home inspection to discuss items that I was concerned about. He delivered the inspection report the same day as inspection. His home inspection report was very thorough and covered the items he and I discussed. After the inspection, I called him to discuss some of the items in more detail. He is very easy to talk to and very informative. Highly recommended.

Mark was professional and yet very personable. I could tell that it was more than another job for him. He took great pride in what he was doing. Mark is a great professional, good communicator, thorough inspector, extremely helpful and had the entire reports to us within minutes of completing the inspection. I met him at both properties, learned a great deal, and we were thrilled with the results and final product. Because of his work, we were able to quickly secure repair estimates, notify the sellers and received a check in full for the requested repair items. Highly recommend. Can't praise Bloodhound Home Inspections and Mark enough!

Mark was fantastic. He completed a home inspection for us and was flexible with our scheduling. At the inspection we realized the sellers had not turned the gas on, Mark was kind enough to revisit a few days later to finish inspecting the gas utilities. His report was thorough and emailed to us the same day. I appreciated how quick Mark was to respond to calls and emails and was very professional. We will use him again if we have more inspection needs.

Mark does a top-notch job in his inspections, including plenty of pictures and concise descriptions of issues in the report. He is also good to explain issues to you in person at the inspection, but he does not assume that explanation should replace the notes in his report. When inspecting the house we are purchasing, he noted several oddities that were not cause for concern, explaining them for our benefit. None of them were issues or marks against the house, but it was something he felt we should know about in case we noticed them down the line.

Mark is the best home inspector I’ve worked with. You can tell he takes the safety of the home very seriously with his detailed reports and diligence of every nook and cranny. The day of my home inspection it was 100 degrees outside and he still got in the attic and crawl space. I am going to recommend him to everyone I know.
