I'm Patrick, the owner and lead filmmaker behind my brand, Luxe Filmography. I started creating cinematic wedding films in 2010 when I filmed my sister's wedding. This was the same year in which I started filmmaking professionally, so I'm super grateful she took a chance on me! From there I fell in love with falling in love.
I fully understand that no two weddings are alike, because no two couples are alike. Every couple I film is an amazing fit with me. I truly want to mesh well with both of you because it makes the day go smoother and a more fun environment really resonates through your film. I want the experience of working with me to be as good a memory as the film itself!
Everyone's experience in the affairs of the heart is entirely unique. Your history together and how you met and fell in love are distinctive. Beyond that are the inside jokes, the shared passions, the nicknames you have for each other. The way friends and family light up when they talk about you.

Patrick at Luxe Filmography is the best wedding videographer! As a wedding photographer, I've gotten the opportunity to work with him on a number of occasions. He continues to amaze me with not only his professionalism and easy going demeanor but more importantly, the finished product. Patrick was fantastic!! As I was doing research on videographers, I came across Patrick and his team. I fell in love with his art style, and I was so excited that we were able to schedule him. I was appreciative beforehand for the attentive emails and responses to questions. He was very quick to respond to us. The day of he did a great job at adapting to a few hiccups during our wedding (weather, timing, things out of our control), and still made us feel comfortable throughout the stress of the day.

Honestly in the wedding planning the most difficult part for us was picking a videographer! I was super picky on not wanting it to be plug and play which I felt like many of the videos I saw online in my search where. When I came across Luxe Filmography and watched some of the previous weddings I was really impressed with how unique every video was! Beyond the uniqueness of the films, we were super impressed by Patrick. He took time before to get to know us, talk through what was important to us and hear more about how we met! The two most important aspects of your wedding: videography and photography. Hands down. People won’t remember details for the rest of their lives like you will but they’ll always be able to view photos and videos to give an overall view. This is your priority.

As the MOB, my daughter mostly wanted me to handle much of the organizational details (with our wedding planner) and overall work of the wedding. She trusts me because she knows I thoroughly enjoy it, am detailed-oriented and trustworthy when throwing events.

Patrick was spectacular. He was very professional and easy to work with. He always let me know exactly what he needed, clear and to the point. He also was very flexible when it came to changing our date (3 times) and working with us on the contract. Not to mention his footage is absolutely gorgeous. He also offers drone footage with adds a whole other layer to his beautiful videos. Nothing but good things to say about him!

Luxe Filmography and Patrick Janka are simply wonderful! They arrived on site at the venue knowing our vision and delivered beautiful images and amazing video that captured all the moments and emotions of our 70's themed LBGTQ wedding shoot. The film making is definitely focused yet the final videos are so stunning and show the level of care and pride that they put into each piece. Their communication between the Overeasy Events planning and design team proves what happens when true collaborative magic happens!

Patrick was an outstanding videographer! I am ecstatic every time I watch my wedding video or get to share it with others; I actually get goosebumps when I hear the opening church bells. He did an amazing job capturing every detail and feeling of my wedding day. He captured my sister's wedding 3 years ago, but made sure to make me feel special and… different. Patrick's pricing is very fair but his work is worth every penny. He works well with the other vendors but most importantly is fun and easy to work with as the Bride and Groom. LOVE my wedding video!!

Hiring LuxeFilmography was one of the absolute best decisions I made for our wedding day. We had a very small intimate wedding at a pop up venue that definitely was not the easiest place to film at set up wise (lighting in a warehouse is beautiful in person but hard to capture on film) but Patrick did a beautiful job, and I have no idea how he managed all this equipment on his own. The cuts between shots were absolutely seamless.

We used Patrick for our daughter's wedding and were totally satisfied with the job he did. He was very easy to plan with, showed up and did exactly what he promised. Very professional, and interacted beautifully with the photographer. He was everywhere, yet did not attract attention. The video was absolutely beautiful! He even patiently worked with us afterwards to make it just perfect. Sooooo happy with the product! I would highly recommend him.

Patrick went ABOVE & BEYOND with his services. His editing style fit exactly what we wanted for the wedding video of our dreams & he gave us just that. Patrick was honest & transparent from the beginning which made me feel very comfortable. I was incredibly touched & cried such happy tears when I opened my email from him. Patrick was our videographer was so awesome from the second he walked in the door on our wedding day! I was literally walking out the door with my photographer and wedding planner to do a first touch with my future hubby (which Patrick was originally not going to be filming due to timing), but he said if we gave him just a minute, he could be ready… and rolling to capture this special moment of our wedding day which was so amazing and was a great addition to our wedding film.
