Often, people are given conflicting information, adding to the confusion. Willamette Nutrition Source, is a private nutrition consulting business. I specialize in medical nutrition therapy for eating disorders including: anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorders, eating disorders not otherwise specified (EDNOS), and ARFID.
I work with children, adolescents and college aged young adults who are working with their families or a strong social support network and with families on meal issues with their children and I help families decide if there is a problem with their child's eating habits or food intake.Treatment options as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes your medical and mental health providers.

Services
I receive referrals from mental and medical health professionals as well as self-referrals from parents and individuals. Initially, I listen to potential clients, contact the other health care providers and we work to determine their level of need. Medical stability has to be established before outpatient treatment starts, so I will be in touch with your medical provider.
Educating support people, including family, spouses, significant others about eating disorders and facilitating them becoming supportive to the person with an eating disorder. Working with schools to develop supportive entities within the school to keep recovery on track. Such supportive entities may include educating teachers and training meal companions.
