Scott Engineering has the capability to manufacture many different arrangements of medium voltage capacitor banks from overhead and pad-mounted to substation applications. Along with power factor improvement, our capacitor banks also benefit power flow for both customers and utility companies by increasing power flow capabilities, improving efficiencies and keeping loss to a minimum.
Scott Engineering offers Switchgear and Fuse Cabinets that are available in a variety of standard configurations. The cabinets offer protection and switching in circuit configurations that fit every requirement. This allows flexibility in designing your underground system. We offer products for single or three phase applications.
Scott Engineering produces a broad range of free-standing, self-supporting cabinets. Each low-profile cabinet is designed to accept from 15kV up to 35kV 200 Amp and 600 Amp Junctions. This type of cabinet can be used wherever underground cable must be sectionalized or connected. Cabinets are designed for 15kV, 25kV and 35kV voltage classes.
Scott Engineering offers a range of metering enclosures in both single and three-phase padmounted cabinets up to 38kV. Our capabilities to build metering enclosures include products such as Primary Metering Cabinets, Metering Boxes and Secondary Bus Enclosures. We can construct live or dead front applications with separate instrument compartments as additional features for customers.
