My friends and I were looking for a nice place to stay for a couple nights in Blue Ridge. The hotel is very nice & the staff was very helpful. The ladies at the front desk recommended a great restaurant, and gave directions to some of the local attractions. The upper floor is recently remodeled, real wood furnishings, and beautiful granite counter tops.

Saw the reviews mentioning bugs and called ahead to question the review. I was told it was during the time construction workers were staying there and that the problem has been taking care of. LIES!!!! Roaches still resides there. Despite them saying they spray daily and exterminators comes on Tuesdays, there was still dead and live roaches in the rooms. Not just one room but in the 2nd room they tired to move us to. Not to mention, the owner VD is very very very rude. He has no customers services compassion at all!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! We went into the room,
immediately saw dead and living roaches in the bathroom. The front desk offered to give us another room, roaches there as well, with one doing laps in the jacuzzi. The rooms have a nice rustic feel, but the bugs negate all of that. Look elsewhere . Reid Ridge Lodge has an issue that they need to shut down and fumigate to eliminate.

Despite what the other reviews say it wasn't that bad. The TV remote was broken, the room smelled like wet dog, and the doorbell was a pain.
I woke up multiple times in the night because of people walking in through the front door.
Also, the breakfast options were terrible. All of the fruit was close to rotten, the orange juice was just orange water, and the toaster overcooked just about everything.
I'd say if you stay at this hotel, try to get a room on the second floor or as far away from the front door as possible.
That doorbell is LOUD!
The rooms were quaint though. I liked the decor style

We were charged for our stay as soon as we arrived . We travel a lot and are accustomed to our credit card being charged when we check out . We own a business and had to leave early because of an emergency. We were told twice we would be refunded, should have had them put it in writing , but apparently only the manger, Josh can refund . We… called asking why we were not refunded for the 2 days we were unable to stay. He had no record of our stay but told my husband if we had the confirmation number he would refund us. So I called back to give him the number and he hung up on me! From these

Was prepared to make a higher star review until I talked to manager/owner? The rooms were clean on the surface. Cute decor. Pleasant staff at desk check in. But our room had bugs, many. We brought bug spray because I had read that. (only room we could find that weekend) In tub, sink, jacuzzi tub and crawling on our belongings. The manager YELLED at me when I told him and said I was making it up... That no one had ever said that. Several reviews on line mentioned bugs. Which made me think, they may have solved the issue. He said "I don't care what it says on line." I was SHOCKED to be spoken to

My husband and I stayed here recently for the first time after planning a last minute weekend trip. Really loved this hotel and would stay here again. The location to everything was great, it was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and this hotel had one of the most comfortable rooms and beds we have ever slept in. Would definitely come back if need a hotel for a trip back up to North GA

The hotel is in a good location if you have an event in Blue Ridge and the price is reasonable. The hotel was clean enough, although our room wasn't cleaned on day 2 even though we used the "please clean" door hanger out when we left during the afternoon. There are many missing items in the rooms (hangers, closet poles for hangers, TV remote, etc.) which we were told that others must have taken. We were not able to get replacements. The decor is obviously meant to be rustic, but they need to do some updating. Our toilet also didn't run properly.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Will NOT rent to locals NO MATTER THE SITUATION! Your house just burnt to the ground? Oh, sorry…you’ll have to live in your car with your spouse and 3 kids until you find a place to stay. You’ve stayed the max amount of nights you can stay in one place and are about to live in your car? Oh sorry…live in your car. The owners should be ASHAMED of themselves!!! You have to take care of your LOCALS before your tourists, even when you’re not a local and from overseas yourself.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This hotel is disgusting. It smells horrible , we felt as if things were crawling on us when we tried to lay in the bed, the faucet handles fell off when we tried to turn the water on , the breakfast options were very poor , you cannot use the fire pit , the yard is not taken care of and the view is… very poor. We spoke with the front desk staff and asked about the cancellation policy because we were very unpleased with the hotel and we were told " yes ma'am you can just pay for this first night and will be refunded for the rest ". At that point

Pros: Super sweet lady miss Carol at the desk let us check in an hour early because our room was already ready. The room was a good size. Bathroom was spotless and good size as well. Bed was comfy and we slept great. Nice and quiet for the most part. A little noise above but nothing terrible. Love the decor and all the wood detail. Almost feels… like a little cabin. Cons: The knob on our air unit is missing so it was hard to get the air adjusted. There was lots of dust between the wall and carpet. No one has took a vacuum extension to it in a good while. No firepit due to covid. Overall
