Big thanks to Dr. Sheety! I had an ongoing issue that I couldn't figure out, I was in and out of hospitals trying to find out why I was feeling nausea while doing activities that required fast motion. Dr. sheety saw how stressed out I was and he was determined to help me, he said "I will do every single test there is until we figure out what's going on and we will fix you" he stuck to his word and fixed my eyes. His staff and assistants are amazing! To anyone seeking a doctor that will actually care to help you he is your guy.

This man is evil and uses his title as a way to mistreat his patients. He refuses to speak to patients on the phone and directs his staff to book appts for $135.00 for patients who have any questions or concerns. He is on a SUPER ego trip. He comes across pleasant initially, but dont be fooled

Dr Sheety is a good doctor, he’s really a kind man. Dr. Valerie was also awesome. I have had too many bad situations with their staff. Nicole, is rude and raises her voice at customers when billing in handled incorrectly. I have been a patient for 16 years but I can not deal with some of the staff. This time it cost me 400 dollars.

I arrived at Dr Sheety’s Office today on time. I checked in with a very nice receptionist and took care of loose ends on the paperwork. I waited 45 minutes after my appointment time and went to the receptionist and asked if there was a better time to come in when the Doctor is running on time. To my surprise she said NO he always runs this way. Time is a commodity that most people don’t have. If you have time to sit and wonder how people can have such bad time management issues, and think there time is more important than yours, this is a place for you. Dr Sheety took excellent care of my wife and her eye condition. Every step of the procedure was smooth and professional. The surgery the and the follow up visits were comfortable and timely. Both facilities were clean and comfortable; each helped me (the driver/waiter) relax and enjoy the time.

Dr. Valerie is great and so is Dr. Sheety. I've been seeing them for many years now and every time I come in they have been very pleasant. My sister and mom go to them as well. Nothing but great experiences from them!

Dr. Sheety is one is the most attentive doctors that I have ever met. He takes the time to hear the patient out and explains the treatment plan clearly. He office is modern and office staff are professional. I drove all the way from West Los Angeles to see doctor Sheety because he came highly recommended. I also highly recommend him.

I have taken care of two ill parents and I have seen my share of doctors & surgeries. I find most doctors lacking and incompetent. However, I would highly recommend Dr. Sheety to anyone. He is both intelligent and a talented surgeon. I took my mom to an eye doctor recommended by my family doctor who was close to home, now I am worried she my lose vision. Dr. Sheety is worth the wait and and any drive.

Dr. Sheety is the best eye care doctor in Orange County. Extremely thorough and has a very professional staff.

I took my daughter (back un 2015) who has brain damage to the office in Santa Ana, I asked them more than twice if they take Medi-cal and they said YES. I was charged $45 copay, I only had $50 that day, and I asked again, and the front desk said don't worry, she's been taken care if, her insurance will cover it.
So they applied two (2) eyedrops and looked at her eyes. They sent us home and months later I was sent to collection for $610.25. I have been fighting it for two years and I even paid it and I am still been sentto

Wonderful office. Dr.Sheetey and Dr.Pilon have great bedside manners- I never felt rushed and they answered all my questions. All of my testing and procedures were done with care and great results. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Thank you both for taking such good care of me.

When this office was Sierra Eye Center is was run very efficiently. Rarely did I have to wait. When I came in today for my appointment at 9am I was told my appointment was made for another day. This wasn't schedule by me as I made the appointment for my only day off weeks prior. Then the office manager said she could get me in at 10:30 instead. It is now 11:45 and I have yet to see the eye doctor. While I value the professionalism of the doctors in the past. This has become a waste of my time. I wont be back

You know your EYES are in the BEST HANDS possible when you are in the care of Dr. Michael Sheety...his impeccable intelligence...warm demeanor...and extreme attention to detail are just a few of his many amazing qualities..it doesn't hurt that he is very "easy on the eyes" either....
My Mom & I had previously had a misunderstanding with the front desk last year, but instead of treating us curt & cool, my Mom & I were treated very kind & warm when we came in today...

Valerie are awesome! The staff is wonderful!!! I had my droopy eyelids fixed and Dr. Sheety did a fantastic job. I also scratched my eye and Dr. Sheety got me back on track. I highly recommend OC Surgical.

This place was recommend by the ER after an eye injury...so I called and made an appointment. I sat and waited over an hour for my appointment, but figured it was because they got me in so quick. I made a follow up appointment which was scheduled weeks out, I went and sat in their waiting room for over half hour and no one talked to me, tons of people are just sitting here and waiting. I am leaving and will not be back. Come here if you have tons of time to sit and waste your life in a waiting room!

I've been going to their office since 2007 and have really enjoyed being seen by Dr. Michael Pilon. He was thorough, explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. Within the last year I'm not sure what happened with their back office but wait time are much longer and payments for the same procedure from year to year have increased. I'd like to add that I've seen Dr. Valarie Pilon and Dr. Sheety provided great service; I'd just prefer not to wait over an hour in the waiting room.

I visited Dr. Sheety for lasik eye surgery and was very happy with my entire experience. Dr. sheety and his staff made my experience very easy. I highly recommend his office.

I'm having a tremendously unpleasant and continued unprofessional experience with Dr Michael Sheety's staff.

After reading Colleen K 's review from 7/9/14, I realized I, too need to express the horrible treatment my Mom & I endured as well from this doctor office..
Sadly, the "girls" Rochelle the office manager & Nicole the receptionist he has working in his office are the most incompetent..un-intelligent..& extremely rude human beings.
First off, a few months back, my Mom & I were on a road trip & we received an urgent phone call from another doctor's office that my Mom NEEDS to see a specialist for eye drooping that Dr. Michael Sheety referred her for....my Mom does NOT have this medical issue...it

Dr, Sheety is director of Sierra Eye Institute. I believe Dr. Sheety to be an excellent, knowledgeable opthamalogist. He also is friendly, caring and has excellent patient and communication skills.

I was referred to Dr. Sheety because my eyes were beginning to droop. He diagnosed the problem as "dry eye disease", which he is correcting with Restasis and plugs. Now my eyes are no longer droopy and irritated.
