After 8 years in practice with Memorial Health, Dr. Christi Ghaleb and her husband, Dr. Pete Ghaleb, started their own medical practice, Family Medicine of Pooler, in 2010 to better serve patients in the style they've known to love: efficient, caring and attentive. Dr. Pete handles the business side of things so that Dr. Christi can focus her full attention on providing excellent medical care for their patients.
We intentionally cap the number of patients to about 25% of the national average for primary care doctors, which means we have much more time to take care of YOU. Direct primary care isn’t something that’s common in Savannah, so when it came, I was very interested because I didn’t have health insurance at the time. Right away, I called Dr. Ghaleb's office to inquire and set up a consultation. Everything was very pleasant, Dr. Ghaleb’s bedside manner was awesome, so I decided to become a patient. Dr. Ghaleb has been primary care for me and my family including my grandson for many years. She provides the best and most professional care I have ever experienced. Her staff is very prompt and courteous. I especially appreciate the fact that I am seen promptly at my appointment time. I am very busy and I have experienced very long wait times with other doctors. Dr. Ghaleb has been my doctor for many years. She is truly knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. I have never had to wait long to see her and she is genuinely interested in my care. When I shared how easy she is to talk to with my husband, he decided to change over to her practice as well. Dr G has been our entire family’s primary Doctor for 9 years. She is like visiting family each time we need her. She is meticulous with record keeping and making sure we are always on top of any concerns. She has held our hands through major health issues and all the minor ones. Her office is always accommodating and available no matter when or what the issue is. Her office is very efficient, you won’t waste time sitting in a waiting room all morning. She and her office staff have you in and out without issue. (Yet, she always makes time for any heart to hearts you need). We are so grateful

Everyone in this office is very polite and professional. They made me feel like they want to personally take care of me. Since I do not have insurance their plan for their patients is very affordable and offers so many services that are covered under that base rate. I met Dr. Ghaleb when she was a resident at Memorial Hospital and thought she had such a kind bedside manner then so I was glad to get to become one of her patients now that she is in her own private practice.

Dr. Ghaleb is the most compassionate and kind doctor I have ever had. Since I began seeing her several years ago, I have moved to a neighboring state. However, I have made the decision to continue as a patient Because she is so great. The hour drive is completely worth it to me, as I know I could never find another doctor like Dr. G. She is caring, always shows concern and gives me 100% of her time and attention when I am in the office (or by teleconference). I have never had to wait when in the office, she makes each patient a priority. She is THE best And her current team is great!
