At Bluffton-Okatie Primary Care, our staff is available to answer any questions you may have about our services. If you are new to the area or need to transition to a doctor in our office, we will be glad to provide you with the necessary information to make the transfer of medical information as smooth as possible.
Dr. Jimena Burnett is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician that is dedicated to delivering quality health care to her patients. She provides a full range of medicine services for males and females from new born to senior care. Dr. Burnett will conduct a thorough patient evaluation to diagnose and optimally treat any patient's condition.
Dr. Christopher Madison is a board certified Family Medicine Physician with over 25 years of delivering quality healthcare to his patients. In 2014, he was voted Best Primary Care Physician in Cleveland County, NC. Now, he and his wife call the Hilton Head community their home. The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to provider related questions on our independently administered Patient Satisfaction Survey.
Hilton Head Regional Physician Network accepts most major health plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Please check with your health insurance carrier to verify specific coverage. Unless you are a member of one of our contracted insurance plans, or Medicare, full payment is due at the time of service.

Urology Department: I called to try and schedule a Vasectomy consultation. The female I spoke with was short and rude with me. Since, I have not been seen by this practice she had requirements for my records, which is normal, but the more questions I asked trying to gather more information the more impolite she became. She was impatient and very rude in response when I asked her to slow down as I told her I was writing things down. I will not be going to this practice because of this unprofessional encounter. Can't keep proper records. Have been trying to get my 2nd pneumonia shot; they say I already have. I have called them & gone in to see them. They understand that I need 2nd shot but Dr. Burnett never returns my call. No one at front desk seems to give a darn. Gee they're busy. Can't fit you in. It must stink to be you.

The staff here are incompetent. Dr. Madison is great, but my family will no longer come here because of the staff. They caused us to be overcharged on a prescription TWICE, because they made it mandatory that it was not generic. They acknowledged they were wrong but would not compensate us in anyway. (prescription was mail order, could not be returned) It would be a waste of time to file a claim under their errors and omissions coverage. Shame on them.

We had a few hiccups with my insurance, but Mrs. Ann took and the staff at O'Katie Primary Care took care of everything for me. Walked me through all the steps and helped me out to understand exactly what happened and how we could fix it. I would recommend them to anyone. They are truly caring about their patients and are a wonderful office overall.

Doctor Burnette is efficient, friendly, and professional. The office staff are lacking and are the reason I won't be back. It takes as much time to be nice as to be rude and going beyond to help a sick patient should be a dedication they have in the forefront of their minds just as the doctor's for whom they work. Great doctor. Shoddy office personnel.

Dr. Chambers is a thorough practicioner who has treated my husband and I for at least the last two years. She is easy to talk to, explains test results in a manner that is understandable and runs her practice with efficiency. Positives within the practice are an onsite lab - so you can have your labs done there including blood draws. The nursing staff is kind and completely professional. Downside is that sometimes it is hard to get an appointment without a long wait, but the staff works to get you to the Dr. as best as they can. I recommend for the Okatie/Bluffton/Del Webb area.

Dr. Chambers is awesome. She listens (and I mean -really listens-) to my concerns and takes the time to make sure I am fully informed and educated about anything I need to be aware of. She is the kind of doctor that people search and search for, but have a hard time finding. You can -feel- that she genuinely cares about her patients. There are many doctors within just 2-3 minutes from my home, but I happily drive 45 minutes to see Dr. Chambers. Great doctor, great person.

My wife Janet and I have been Dr. Chambers patients for about a year. I am 83 and my wife is 75. We have had several Doctors over our lives and I must state that Dr. Chambers is the most intelligent, patient, and considerate doctor that we have ever experienced in our lifetime.
We also have encouraged my brother Jim to become her patient and he is also quite impressed.
