We had a great stay at Gone Fishin'. Areas for exercising the dog and nice walking around the park. Nice treed spaces, each with a picnic table. Al and Tauna were great and we will definitely go back when we have more time!
All hook-ups were as they should be and we were also able to fill up on propane while there.
I cannot comment on the other facilities (laundry, restrooms) but I would assume that Al and Tauna keep those as they keep the rest of the park - which would be five stars!

We have stayed at Gone Fishing RV Resort three times in the last three years. It's well located for access to Lake Texoma with a boat ramp in the Corps of Engineer Campground that is literally "next door." The sites are well shaded and generous with excellent utilities. Al has spent a lot of time upgrading the electrical and it was rock solid during our stay. He runs a tight ship with an automatic gate that is closed during the night. He lives in an apartment overlooking the campground and he knows if anyone has come or gone. He's also frequently on the grounds in his golf cart. Just the right

Al and Tauna are such great hosts. They make you feel at home and part of the family. Their park is exceptionally nice. Quiet, full service and spacious sites are certainly a great feature. We will definitely stay there in the future when we go to Texas and recommend their park to all of our motor home coach friends. Can't wait to visit again, and try out some fishing.

For an older RV park, it is a great place to stay. Its actually a nice change from the typical concrete jungle RV parks. Nice and quiet. Very mature trees, a lot of grass, with gravel roads and spaces. Clean. Less than 1/2 a mile from the Cross Timbers Trail Head. Al and his wife have been the owners for about a year, and there is definitely pride in ownership. It is a smaller park, but I had no issues navigating the park with my 40' Class A towing a Jeep.
