A native Jamaican, Thompson was trained in the British art of tailoring and came to the u.s. in 1999 to seek his fortune. After stints at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Macy's in White Plains, where he managed the tailor shop, four years ago he joined Foeller Men's Store, a Middletown, N.Y., institution, as its master tailor.

Extraordinary and time sensitive service. My mother passed away and we needed a suit for my son. Ater 7pm we walked into Foeller after searching high and low for a decent suit. Salesmen were wonderful and completely understanding. Alexander took great care of us, much appreciated! We came back the next day and the suit pants were hemmed. A sorrowful day was made just a little brighter with this experience, thank you!

Once I got Got there you can tell it’s quality stuff and I needed suit in one week so Alex helped me out and with one shot pick I fell in love with the suit and bam I got it..appreciate the help definitely would recommend this spot

Was a great experience guy got exactly what I wanted it was close to closing time didnt rush me and great deal on agreat suit didnt give them much time to tailor my suit 3 days they said it will be ready for pick up I will be shopping there again

The place looked great, was a little busy, which is understandable. Hung out waiting for a few mins but ultimately left without ever being greeted by the 2 employees that gave us direct eye contact. 🤷‍♂️

Nice ambiance and great service, came in days before a wedding and Roy impressively knew my sizes just from looking at me and was able to get alterations done for me really quickly.

I walked and immediately thought, 'Wow'. The selection and the employees were amazing and professional. I walked in with my wedding being the next day after being let down by another service and supper tight on time. Alex Haynes was fantastic and helped me find a suit that both looked great, felt comfortable, and fit the color scheme of my wedding.

Worst experience of my life. I visited the shop in middletown on may 1st. I thought I was having a good experience but I was wrong. I was called in for measurements twice and they still on june 3 I have no suit. I will not recommend anyone to go there and do business with the head tailor.
