Park Avenue Dermatology was founded by Dr. George Schmieder to provide quality healthcare to Jacksonville area residents for the treatment of a broad range of skin conditions. Melanoma is the most dangerous type of skin cancer and can be fatal as it often spreads to other parts of the body. We cannot stress enough the importance of early detection and early treatment of melanoma. We also recommend annual full-body skin exams, limiting exposure to the sun and the use of an SPF 50 sunblock.

I have recently had a thorough examination and subsequently had to have several basal cell carcinomas removed by Ms Jenifer Lee. I am over 70 years old and she has been the most pleasant, professional and caring professional that I have ever encountered. I feel that I am in very good hands going forward. I can highly recommend her personally and the staff at Park Ave Dermatology. Best experience ever

First and foremost they love Jesus and treat you as they do. Very kind, brilliant, I did not feel any pain and two of the biopsy were taken from my nose so close to my right eye. Also, two from my right leg. I was surprised I wasn't checked on the back of my body. This was explained; they did not want to cut me if need be more than 4 times due to afterwards pain and infection. Made perfect sense to me. I was bandaged well and educated how to treat these areas until we meet again.

Jennifer Lee, PA has been treating me at Park Avenue Dermatology for several years. When she was moved up to the north office, I was more than willing to drive 30 minutes to get to her new location. Because I am being treated by one of the very best, I am willing to go out of my way a bit to obtain that treatment. I am a retired dentist and therefore very well acquainted with health care provider-patient interactions. In my experience, it would be difficult to find a provider who was more caring, knowledgeable and surgically adept than Jennifer Lee.

I had never been to a dermatologist before and PAD-North was referred to me by a friend. I had my first appointment today with Mrs. Lee and honestly, it could not have been a more pleasant experience. She was kind, timely, thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns with compassion and care. I also had the opportunity to meet other clinicians of the PAD team including Dr. K, Dr. Robbins, and nurse, Margo. Reception was also very helpful and courteous. Thank you all for being so kind. A gem of a practice. Dr.Krishnamurthy and his team of residents have combined state-of-the-art medicine and that nowadays rare human empathy to aid in my son’s struggle with severe eczema. We have had access to treatments that would have been out of reach for our family. These contribute to my son’s quality of life. Every time we leave that office, we feel hope, and that’s as important as any drug.

This was one of the best dermatology offices I have been to! The ladies on the phone were very informative and helpful in scheduling. The staff in the office were respectful,and attentive and very pleasant . Lastly my provider was so knowledgeable and really listened to my concerns. Recommend to everyone!

Incompetent, and I'm being kind. Did a massively invasive surgery on a surface basil spot about the size of a pencil eraser. My new dermatologist suggested, as it was not deep, that it could have been scraped and cauterized and been effective. Apparently dermatologist can decide on how invasive to be. Three weeks waiting for the hole in my back to heal up properly on a procedure that was suppose to be a couple of stitches. Picture is of the broken suture in my back 14 hours after the surgery. I have been a patient at the Orange Park office for almost 10 years and was excited to see a location near my new home, that was until I went. The Doctor suggested I have a mole removed along with a growth (my choice) and he had his nursing assistant do it ALONE! Not a PA or NP, she was just his assistant and he quickly gave her instructions and bolted out of the room. I even asked her if he was coming back, and her response was "no he trained me how to do it". Pretty sure this is illegal to have her in the room alone removing anything off my body not to mention she probably has no license. In

My physician is Dr. Lee at the UF building. She gentle, so knowledge about her field and professional. I have had several places on my hands from the sun "burnt off" and a cyst, at my request, removed from my back. I am an old retired RN who had a certificate in Post Anesthesia Nursing so I think I am can evaluate her fairly.
