Scott Greiff is the owner & Managing Member of SG Heating & Air Conditioning LLC and SG Plumbing LLP. He is a Licensed Master HVAC Contractor, BPI-Certified Energy Auditor in 4 Disciplines, a NATE-Certified HVAC Technician, and has over 40 years of trade experience. Scott founded SG Heating & Air Conditioning in 2004 with the mission "To provide our customers with the highest quality repairs and new product installations possible."
Tim is our Director of Technical Services. Our "Greenest" employee, he is a BPI Certified Building Analyst, Envelope Specialist, Heating & Air Conditioning Specialist. I have had a maintenance agreement with SGHAC for over 10 years and always highly recommend this business to friends and neighbors. They installed our HVAC, furnace, and water heater over the years. They also fixed a plumbing problem! SGHAC has always been responsive even for an emergency.

Installed my own central AC system 15 years ago and for 15 years was trouble free other than me replacing the capacitor last year. Then, in the middle of a 3 day heat wave, the compressor failed to turn on. Having no service contractor for past service, I called SG as a new customer and they were able to schedule me for the next day. The next day, two men showed up in a well equipped box truck and were able to fix the problem in about an hour.
They were on time as scheduled, professional, highly knowledgeable and the charge was very reasonable.

High expertise and courtesy. For example, Zach did a fine job resetting our generator breaker that our town inspector failed to do. But Zach also did a thorough check of the inside and outside settings to be sure they were correct. He also went over a few control settings with me and changed our generator's weekly exercise test date and time. Extremely satisfied!

The old boiler in our house died on us in the early morning just a few days before Christmas. I saw SG's high ratings on Google and they were the first company I called. Right away I was speaking directly to Scott the owner, and later that day he sent out Zach, his tech, followed by Tim, his engineer. The old boiler was done for (it went from ok to spewing carbon monoxide just before 6am -- I never go a single day without working CO detectors in the house - and neither should you). I was up visiting my Mom and came to find out that her tankless hot water heater wasn't working (kind of one of those inconvenient emergencies!!). I went to the Rinnai website and found SG Heating and Air Conditioning as one of a few authorized service places and called them to see if they could help. Janice was so friendly and understanding and said they would try to accommodate us (it's important to understand this is at 8:30 AM on a Friday (Veterans Day - Nov 10, 2017). My experience with SG heating & air was negative. I spoke to Scott who I believe owns the company and he gave me a price to come over and check out the issue with my air conditioner. Scott came over checked out my unit and found a wire which blocked the compressor propeller from turning. He untangled it and it worked just fine. Scott then proceeded to charge me three times more than he quoted me. In addition he told me if I didn't pay him cash the price would be even higher. BAD EXPERIENCE don't know how this Character can sleep at night. This was my personal experience with
