Mitchell's Al Dance Studio

In 1932, after being called on repeatedly to provide Entertainment and instruct Dance Routines for shows, Mary Manuel Mitchell opened a Dance Studio in the "Music Room" of her home at 27 Chapman St. in Beverly. Her first Recital consisted of performances by her 7 pupils plus other variety acts. Thus the title "Follies of ___" became a reality.

45 minute combination classes are offered in Tap, Jazz & Ballet for students aged 3 to 8 years old. Students are placed in classes based on their age. Final age splits will be decided after Registration Day to try and keep class sizes equal. Our classes are for the recreational dancer. We do not participate in competitive events.

Zumba is a GREAT class and allows you to have a fun time as you get your heart pumping, blood flowing and help to drop those extra pounds from the holiday season. Bring a friend and make it even more fun! This class will run for an hour and will be geared to adults (but High Schoolers will be welcome as well).

We will follow the City of Beverly's Snow Emergency Parking Ban when it comes to weather cancellations. Venmo payments must be paid to @mitchellsdancestudio. A 5% discount is given if the tuition for the whole year is paid in full, on or before the 1st lesson. You will be responsible for replacing the payment (plus a $10 service charge) on any returned checks.
