Primary Care House Calls
Primary Care House Calls (PCHC) is a Medical House Call practice in the North West Florida/ Pensacola area designed to provide medical care for patients with limited mobility who find it difficult to get to the doctor's office. Primary care medicine is provided by Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in collaboration with and under the supervision of a physician.

Our team of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret lab tests, perform procedures, provide patient education and counseling and make rounds. We also prescribe and monitor medications, order therapies, and call on many other home centered teams to help us give the best care for our patients including Hospice, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Labs, X-ray and others.

BE AWARE— you will have to give up your primary care doctor in order to utilize this service. You cannot see your primary care doctor and see the nurses here. I guess it’s either or…. If someone had mentioned this in the phone calls and literature I had with this agency, it would have saved us both time and energy. Just a heads up…..

I needed to rely on this organization and they failed miserably. I am happy to discuss my experience with anyone considering using them as primary care (PM me).

I have worked with this group on a personal and professional level and I would highly recommend them, and do regularly. They are compassionate and assertive at all levels of care.
