Services
Our K-2 program is designed to help guide each child through developing milestones needed to master the basic building blocks of learning. We work on social, emotional, and academic growth and development. Our warm, family-oriented environment encourages the learning experience. We maintain a 7:1 student/teacher ratio.
Each student is required to have a South Carolina Certificate of Immunization. Other information pertinent to the child's physical and emotional development should be filed with the school. The registration process includes completion of application and payment of enrollment fee; entrance test appropriate for grade level, conference and test evaluation with the school.
Haynsworth's K-3 Program strives to teach students the basic building blocks of learning, both socially and academically. We encourage independence while learning to follow rules. Haynsworth is a warm, family-oriented environment that promotes personal responsibility, decision-making and emotional growth.
Haynsworth's K-4 Program is based on a fundamental approach to the basics of learning. The combination of the whole language and phonetic approaches gives the child the steppings stones to reading development. Children have hands-on opportunities with educational manipulatives and practice in writing.
Haynsworth's K-5 Program seeks to help students develop pride and confidence in themselves and their abilities. Our program focuses on developing a strong academic foundation, critical thinking, personal responsibility and time management skills. We encourage social and emotional growth in a nurturing environment with a supportive and loving teaching staff.
