I am a birth & postpartum doula, childbirth & lactation educator, Reiki Practitioner and Birth Story Mentor. I am very passionate about women's health, the birth journey and supporting families. I have always felt empowered by the women around me, and passing on that strength and support to other women is very special to me.
Birth doula services bring emotional and physical support, along with resources and birth preparation to an expecting family prenatally, during birth and shortly after. Postpartum doula services come with endless resources, support and guidance during the transition into parenthood from the first few weeks to a few months postpartum.
A birth doula provides emotional and physical support, along with resources and birth preparation to an expecting family prenatally, during birth and shortly after. Birth doulas meet with you prenatally, offers support throughout your labor and birth, and is there for you as you transition into your postpartum chapter.

As a birth doula, I meet you prenatally and visit postpartum, along with being with you during your birth. In the months leading up to your birth, I offer information and resources, tips and guidance, and emotional support. During labor, I arrive with my doula bag, and help with optimal fetal positioning, emotional support, encouragement of advocacy, and much more.

My husband and I took Allison's Birth Course and we loved it, she was so personal, answered all of our questions and gave us a lot to think about. In the end she calmed many of my fears and helped me open up to the possibilities of what birth can really be like regardless of any potential emergencies or issues (which is what I think most couples focus on the most). My husband was also extremely happy that this course was straightforward and it was just long enough to go over everything without taking weeks and weeks and tens of hours which is unfortunately common with a lot of birthing courses

Allison helped me postpartum with baby Emma and it was the best decision I made to have allocated her as a resource. She is incredibly kind, calm, and full of baby knowledge. She was supportive both physically and emotionally and we always looked forward to her weekly visits. She shared lots of tips and answered all my questions regarding lactation and pumping. She also taught me how to work on getting Emma to nap independently, how to soothe her before naps, she even taught me how to neatly wrap diapers up before they go into the diaper pail ha! I cannot say enough good things about Allison. From the minute I reached out to her she made me feel important and cared for. I used her as a post partum doula after the birth of my daughter. My husband had returned to work (working away all week) and my family all lives overseas. I felt lonely and overwhelmed and needed some extra support. She was incredibly helpful and caring. Allison was my doula for my planned home birth. It was my first pregnancy and during our prenatal appointments, she was so knowledgeable and made me feel so prepared. Everything I would ask her, she had resources for me. One of our best appointments was when she came over my house and did a full childbirth lesson with my husband and I. Although it was my fourth child, Allison was my first doula and the best decision I made through the whole pregnancy! She was with me every step of the way to deliver our baby boy. She was available and immediately responded to every message I sent her - even in the final weeks (which proved the most eventful of all my pregnancies) with lots of false labor alarms.
