The Turf Company is a locally owned and operated business serving the North Shore and surrounding areas of Boston since 2002. The company changed hands in 2006, at which time current owner, Scott Burr purchased the company. The Turf Company provides residential and commercial lawn, tree and shrub fertilization services, weed and pest control, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs, and aeration services.

We do not offer mowing, landscaping or snow removal services. 100% of our services are delivered by a professionally-trained, licensed and insured applicator 100% of the time. Each year, we analyze new products and improve our programs; with ongoing training, we remain abreast of the newest products and best practices in the industry.

The Turf Company programs are second to none in providing our clients with customized care for their lawns. The Turf Company is a locally owned and operated business serving the North Shore & surrounding areas of Boston since 2002. At The Turf Company we believe healthy trees and shrubs and a vibrant, thriving lawn go hand in hand.
The Turf Company programs are second to none in providing our clients with customized care for their lawns. Our programs are created using well-balanced fertilizers, combined with various combinations of pre-and-post emergent weed controls that can reduce and eliminate invasive pests. 100% of our services are delivered by a professionally-trained and licensed applicator 100% of the time.
At The Turf Company we believe healthy trees and shrubs and a vibrant, thriving lawn go hand in hand. Together, they go a long way in enhancing a property's curb appeal. Deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs need protection year-round against the unpredictable New England weather, invasive pests (such as insects, beetles, and winter moths), and fungus and disease.
At the root of our company, we believe that preventing problems trumps fighting them, every time. In many cases, by the time an active grub infestation is diagnosed it is too late, and the damage has been done to a lawn. Winter moths and other pests can wreak havoc on a landscape if not caught in time or treated in advance to stave off invasive damage.
