Acrylatex Coatings & Recycling., Inc. is a reclamation plant that receives thousands of gallons of new, surplus, mis-tints and unwanted left-over paint from a variety of sources. These collected paints are then carefully processed through several manufacturing procedures to be transformed into a variety of renewable and affordable products including our own brand of "Life Cycle" recycled paint (architectural paint).
Life Cycle paint can be used on both interior or exterior applications for homes, apartments, condominiums and commercial buildings. In addition to our architectural paint line, Acrylatex also uses its recycled paint to manufacture other renewable products from what was once considered waste and discarded into our landfills.

Services
Acrylatex Coatings & Recycling, Inc. was established in 2008 as a latex recycling facility in Azusa, CA for the purpose of collecting and processing latex paint into re-usable products. As an approved California recycling facility, Acrylatex has contracts with several companies who conduct "Neighborhood Round-Ups" to collect unused paint from local residents.
California law prohibits disposing of paints into landfills with steep fines imposed for improper disposal practices as paint is considered a hazardous waste. Bring up to 500 gallons of water based paint, primers, sealers and stains to our facility in Azusa. You may also bring up to 27 gallons of oil (solvent) based paints.
Acrylatex Life Cycle premium recycled paints are made from a combination of post-consumer latex paints and in many cases, a small percentage of virgin paint that we've acquired as surplus or close-outs from retail stores, distributors and paint manufacturers. By reprocessing and recycling collected paint, we keep thousands of gallons of hazardous waste from entering our landfills every year.
These standard colors are available from our off-the shelf inventory. Both our "flat" and "semi-gloss" Life Cycle recycled paints are formulated to be used for either interior or exterior applications. Boasting a 10-year warranty, Life Cycle recycled paint maintain a quality which is as good, or better than many name brands sold on the market today because its content is comprised of these very same name brands!
Many commercial offices, building exteriors and facility grounds already have particular paint colors specified to be used in various areas and painters and contractors are required to continue using those specified colors.
So if none of our standard 20-colors are a close enough match, then Acrylatex can custom blend our recycled paint to replicate the exact color you need, regardless of the brand of paint at a small extra charge (based on color and batch size), for this service.*

The paint bleeds out. I had to go over it a few times until it turned solid white which I didn't like. I returned what I bought. The price matched the quality of the paint. It is recycled paint so I do understand and I am not bothered. Their purpose and everything else is great. The paint just isn't for me.

Real convenient way to dispose of left over paint. A bit difficult to find what drive way to pull in to. They have a few building at the door of this cul de sac. The staff is super busy. The lady in the office was super helpful and told me where to go. The guy in the work area, he barely spoke, simply asked what I had, how much, and said put it there. This was a good thing because I drove up unloaded the paint can and drove away. Place is super organized and they do have a retail front where they sell the recycled paint.

What a great place. They not only took all my old paint (no charge), but I went back to buy paint for a renovation we were doing on one of our rentals. The prices are fantastic and the paint looks fantastic! I won't buy paint anywhere else anymore. They have great in-stock color choices, which we purchased AND we had a custom color made also. I can't say enough. Vanessa was the best. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She walked us through the whole process. Thanks from Payless Patio!

I took bout 20 cans of old paint & primer from my garage, this place was easy to find the office personal were friendly & helpful, they directed me to the drop off area bout 25 yards away & there a couple of men unloaded the cans, answered a few quick question on what's done with the material & informed me they also SELL paint there they also informed me they felt the quality was good. This is a really convenient place for recycling & will recommend.

Best place to order custom paint !!!! I wanted a specific color for our new house and I was able to speak with the owner Brian Brittain. He was so helpful and patient with my needs. The customer service was beyond 5 stars! Oh and the price .... THE BEST !!!!! Don't waste your time going to any other place to get paint besides this place !!!!!! Wow I'm impressed

Went into this place to check out the prices since we just bought a new house and was amazed in the service and prices I received. We were helped by a guy named Carlos who was very patient and very helpful with us. We weren't really sure what color to go with or where to even start but he was helpful and knowledgeable with his stuff. Then the prices were way cheaper than going to Home Depot or lowes which we were going to originally do. So glad I found this place.

Beware of the classic BAIT AND SWITCH. These crooks have an ad in Gregslist for paint at $5.00 a gallon. They claim 20,000 gallons in stock. When I called to inquire I got a different price. I asked for the 5.00 a gallon paint, and Drew (short for Andrew) said that the advertised paint was for the 5 gallon can at $25.00. When I called this morning I asked again and ol' Drew said they have plenty. We even discussed a specific type. I told him I'm on my way. Drove from Orange County and when I got there, they said a guy came by and picked up all of their $5.00 paint just minutes

The quality of the paint is fantastic. I have painted several rooms in my house and recently I painted the exterior. The colors are great and coated the walls evenly. I highly recommend using the paint.

If you need to recycle your old paint,, this is the place. The staff here are very helpful, friendly and its free. I asked them how do they recycle paint? George was kind enough to explain to me the process of how they recycle the paint. It was pretty interesting and amazing how they turn around and recycle to make new paint out of it. I discovered they sell paint too.
