There is no "right way" to plan a funeral because no two funerals are alike. The funeral honors the life of the loved one and adds special meaning and appreciation to their memory. The most important aspect is that your family receives comfort from its ceremony. The funeral service can help families face their loss, celebrate memories and meet their spiritual needs.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral.

A private organization dedicated to furthering our understanding of and compassion for the complex set of emotions we call grief. Dedicated to helping both the bereaved, by walking with them in their unique life journeys, and bereavement caregivers, by serving as their educational liaison and professional forum.
