Airlie is a true destination winery. If you don't stop and linger on the first visit, you will surely return when you can pack a picnic, bring the dogs and just relax the afternoon away. Mary Olson will tell the stories of our estate and the extensive list of varietals we offer. Her beguiling tales will capture and enchant you just like the wines served in our cozy tasting room, on the spacious sunny patio and the hillside deck.
Elizabeth Clark loves wine and it shows from our premier Pinot noir to our white blend, Seven. Regardless of the varietal she strives to create balanced, fresh wines with minimal handling. This approach showcases the best the vineyard and vintage have to offer while maintaining the unique character of each varietal.
Owner Mary Olson, a USWest telephone executive, found herself transferred to Oregon in the early 90's. When she was promoted out of Oregon she talked of buying a winery in her next life and moving back. In 1997 she sold her lifetime supply of pantyhose bought Airlie and began her next chapter. Elizabeth Clark working under the tutelage of pioneer winemaker Myron Redford (Amity Vineyards) came to Airlie during the spring of 2005.
Airlie's crew combines their knowledge of managing a vineyard and passion for growing grapes to create a solid foundation for our wine. Sebastian heads up the two man team and is often seen on weekends tending the family garden at Airlie with his wife Irene and two children Melisa and Evelyn. Guadalupe makes up the other half of our two man team and is a vital addition both in the vineyard and the winery.
It's no secret that we LOVE dogs at Airlie. Rocky and Piper, the two resident Irish Setters are our canine ambassadors! Mary hasn't met a dog she doesn't like and the feeling is mutual from all the four-legged visitors that come with their owners. Remember that we have a pond. If your dog is a water lover, you might want to bring a towel or two!

If you want to visit one of the most accommodating, friendly wineries, this is the place. The winery is nestled in the hills of King's Valley. It's quiet, secluded and very scenic. The wine maker is up and coming, making truly spectacular wines. I expect these wines will, all be world class in no time.
Spend an afternoon, take your dog, buy a bottle, and enjoy. You'll be glad you did.

Great views and exceptionally crafted wine at this hidden gem. Owner Mary employs a staff that is happy to just be there, let alone get paid fairly for their work. Scenic views of the pond, vineyard and Kings Valley. Bring your camera and your picnic supplies and relax. Its always worth the extra mile, or twenty to get to Airlie.

Lovey winery, with a picturesque landscape . Beautiful grape vines in a Double Geneva Curtain. Their out door seating is perfect overlooking the vineyard & lake . We were very welcomed and had a wonderful tasting experience. They offered a wide variety of whites and reds . You will easily find your new favorite. Thank you for the wonderful experience .

"Adorable". Adorable describes everything about this place. There's adorable puppies that make sure visitors are well-looked-after. There's adorable little tasting flights ("little" is perhaps a misnomer). There's an adorable dock over an adorable pond. The servers are extremely knowledgeable and very good at making sure you feel welcome whether you're there to chat or just quietly sip, and they will (adorably) get very excited about their favorite wines.
Speaking of the wines, they're quite good. In a full day of wine tasting, picking up a couple bottles

Went here this past weekend as my first outing since the pandemic started. I was a little apprehensive as I imagine we all will be, but the staff handled social distancing beuatifully.
First and foremost, the location is GORGEOUS. There is a little (man made I assume) pond, a covered picnic-like area at the "bottom" of their location. There are two parking areas, so there is plenty of room for all. We arrived and walked up the short hill to the seating area right outside of the business. We got a table for the five of us. There were other people there too but we all maintained our distance

We loved this place. Friendly, beautiful views, our dog was welcomed off leash. Had a lovely time with a wine flight and cheese plate, both priced reasonably. Very friendly and nice Elizabeth explained all the wines and everything else to us, and we met the owner, Mary on the way out, also dog loving and so nice. The wines were delicious and we took a walk among the huge grape growing fields. There's a big pond and different areas to enjoy your wine and cheese plate. Highly recommended.

Okay, it's a bit of a drive to get to Airlie... but most things worth doing take some effort. And visiting Airlie is DEFINITELY worth the effort. Mary has built herself a wonderful winery in a gorgeous location. The wines, especially the whites, are fabulous and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

This place is a must see for anybody who loves wine and the Oregon wine experience. The tasting room is cozy and 1/5 of the floor space is occupied by one of the resident Irish setters.
Mary, the owner, is fun to hang out with and knowledgeable about all things wine. The grounds are beautiful with a huge pond that is very popular with the dogs and there is a really nice picnic area (bring your own lunch!).
The wine is just fantastic. They have a lot of really interesting wines that you won't find everywhere. Be sure to ask for the Fosh, if you love reds, and the dry Rose for whites.

Found my new favorite wine - Marechal Foch - at this lovely winery. Unfortunately, it's hard to come by in Kansas City, so my friend and I had to order a case after we finished the bottles we drove home with. Very worth it!! 2 adorable dogs hang out on the premises -really enjoyed our time at this spot. Brought our 2 rescue pups along on our road trip from Kansas to Oregon and they were welcome here. Dog-friendly and delicious wine gets 5 stars in my book!

Love this winery. It's off the beaten path, has fabulous wines, reasonably priced, in just about the perfect setting. The winemaker pays a lot of attention to making well-balanced wines and they have several dry whites not seen often here in the Willamette Valley like Reisling and Gewurztraminer. The Pinot Noirs are lovely and they have another unusual red called Marechal Foch for people who like really big non-typical (for this area) red wine.
In case all this isn't enough, maybe the best thing about this place is the location and owner Mary. Everyone seems to know her and people

When people ask for my advice one which wineries to go to, I always ask them if they want to go for the wine, or for the scenery. If the answer is both, the Airlie is my number-one pick for Polk County!
It is breathtakingly beautiful. Lots of land on gorgeous hills, a pond, and several small trails to walk on. They are dog-friendly too, and it's the perfect place to take a lunch out to and enjoy some wine--several cool places to sit!
The wines are good, and they offer quite a few. I am glad they have Müller-Thurgau-not many wineries around here have them and I usually get a bottle. They

Airlie Winery is located right in the center of the gorgeous Willamette Valley, about 25 minutes outside the quaint town of Dallas. Take a beautiful, lazy ride (make sure you use your GPS!) that will help you to unwind before you arrive at this charming little winery. It is run by a dear self-made lady, Mary, a pioneer 25 years ago. She and her assistant winemaker and a hostload of amazingly loyal friends pretty much do everything themselves. Well, I qualify that. Once the grapes are picked.
Mary is warm and welcoming, and after a great tasting experience, gave us the 50 cent tour of her

A longer drive (for most folks) to this winery, but worth it. It's located off a lonely foothills road in the Southwest Valley, sort of between Monmouth and Corvallis. They have beautiful grounds with a nice manmade pond and plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
Indoors, the tasting room is smaller but well furnished. The owner, who had been tending to the place but heard and saw us coming up the drive minutes before we actually got there, showed us into the tasting room and proceeded to pour our tasting flight (which by the way is free). She gave us some laughs and a lot

What a beautiful location. As you can see from these pictures that are previously posted on here a lovely spot.
We pulled up here yesterday and were pleasant surprised by the beautiful surroundings.
The proprietor, Mary, was quick to greet us and usher us into the tasting room. It's a cute little bar set up complete with bar stools which is unusual for a tasting room. Most tasting rooms want to keep you on your feet and keep you moving. This place is quite a bit more laid back and easy going.
They do not charge a fee for tasting and you may taste as many as you want and they make
