Our weight loss program is a combination of nutrition, behavioral coaching, and physical activity. Physical activity is a great way to speed up the entire process and have fun while doing so. Learn to be more mindful about your body and become sensitive to how your body feels. Help to identify enjoyable exercises that target fat burning, muscle strengthening and body toning.
Obesity is one of the most dangerous, yet preventable diseases. Obesity is a modern epidemic, but also linked to our family histories. It affects both physical and mental health and damages the spirit. Obesity is linked to heart disease, diabetes, sleep apnea, and certain cancers. It causes severe psychological trauma, damages self-esteem and interpersonal relationships, and isolates people and impedes physical activity.
The quality of our health is a reflection of our lifestyle choices and our environment. We are constantly exposed to mental and physical stressors that we often passively or unconsciously accept. We frequently and blindly seek instant gratification with the foods we eat. Choosing foods that leave us bloated and tired also demotivate us to be active or even positive.
Growing up in an environment where physical and mental punishment was my teacher resulted in low self-esteem and a negative worldview. I struggled with constant anxiety, lacked parental love, and was naive about what my body and mind needed to thrive. My diet was poor, I had low energy, and I felt inadequate.

I found Marketa on a business app detailing her unique approach to weight loss so I checked out her website at Healyourlifeforyou.com. I have been having problems with my weight and her website really resonated with me. She sat down with me and got to understand my story to put together a nutritional plan and what types of activities would interest me. We walked along the beach and spoke about nutrition, we biked along a beautiful waterway and then sat down to have a session. Marketa is amazing and not only is very knowledgeable about nutrition and personal training, she REALLY cares about you. She personalizes the whole program to meet what your goals are and does it in a safe, nonjudgmental and compassionate way. As an "older" woman, I had slowly gained weight over the years. She met with me and listened to my challenges and struggles and set up a nutritional and training program that encouraged me to keep moving forward. I have worked with trainers in the past but she by far is the best. Highly recommend her.

Marketa is awesome!! I feel so much better after working with her. I was resistant to make changes to my diet and exercise but she really helped me in so many ways. First, she really listened to what my goals were and even suggested some others after observing me for awhile. She did an audit of my fridge and cupboards and evaluated the foods I had. She also took me grocery shopping and now I see the grocery store in a whole new way. Most importantly, she made exercise FUN.
