We offer a full range of accounting services, including receivables, payables, and payroll management. We prepare financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for use by banks, investors, and other third parties. Our firm will also prepare custom financial reports for internal, managerial use.

Frederick J. Koelle is a CPA with 30+ years of experience. In 1984 Fred founded his practice with the intent to provide personalized service and help individuals and businesses take the stress out of tax planning and preparation. Fred's greatest pleasure in running the firm is the opportunity it provides him to make new friends and help people.
Stacey joined FJK PC in 2011. Her varied responsibilities include keeping the office running efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met. During tax season she manages workflow for preparers; distributes tax preparation information to clients; coordinates tax documents provided to the office; and fields client phone calls about everything from tax deadlines, to questions about FAFSA filing, to when estimated payments are due.

I got a call back from Fred within an hour, and he very kindly walked me through what I needed to do. He was so nice about everything, and I felt so much better after getting his guidance. Forfive or six years my daughter and I did my tax return on TurboTax. Recently my wife passed away and my return became very complicated. We found FJK on the Internet and chose them. Fred Koelle saved me money, and from the IRS.
When I received a notice from the IRS informing me that they were going to audit a recent tax return, I felt sick. My previous accountant had prepared the return incorrectly and took deductions that I could not substantiate and additionally omitted a significant tax from the return! The combined effect of which, Fred told me, was that I was at risk of having to pay thousands of dollars in taxes and penalties.

Switching careers and opening a small business was extremely nerve racking as I have no business experience. Fred and his team have been extremely helpful in assisting me with getting everything set up and with giving me a crash course in owning a business. Due to an inheritance, I decided I needed professional help with my 2018 tax preparation. I was anxious, and overwhelmed by the situation. Fred and his staff immediately put me at ease. Stacy and Fred are both personable and professional. My Dad and I had to find a new accountant, and as you know, finding any service provider "blind" is no treat. Fortunately, I found FJ Koelle & Associates via a Google search, and was impressed by the previous Yelp reviews. Let me assure you, those reviews are legitimate, and Fred & Stacy are exceptionally wonderful to deal with. Fred got us in rather late in the tax season, which made me very happy. Fred Koelle is THE BEST! He has made tax time much less overwhelming. His office administrator, Stacey, is also such a pleasure to deal with. They are both so patient and professional. I have a small business in Philly, and Fred files everything for my S Corp and my personal taxes. My initial consultation was about 2 hours, and I learned so much. If you want an accountant that will be there every step of the way, this is your guy. Him and his team will go above and beyond to make sure you understand your taxes. I have used him for one year, and wish I would have found him sooner. This was the first year where I feel I can look at my tax return and understand what most of it means. As busy as they are during tax season, they will still go out of their way to answer any questions you may have, even if you ask over 100 like I do. If you want a reliable and trustworthy guy with your accountant needs, use Fred. Great for both business

when i met him on the recommendation of a friend, i had NEVER filed taxes. not ever. at the time i met him, i was self-employed, but even when i had been working for an employer, i simply had never filed my taxes. i'm easily rendered helpless & confused, particularly by financial stuff. i wanted to buy a home, but being self-employed and having never filed taxes, with virtually zero credit, there was no way any reputable mortgage lender was going to approve me for a mortgage.
