Filipponi & Thompson Drilling, Inc. is locally owned and operated by Doug Filipponi & Ned Thompson. Both were raised in this area and attended Atascadero High School. Filipponi & Thompson Drilling has been honored as the city's "Business of the Year" and both men, on separate occasions have been recognized as Atascadero's "Citizen of the Year" for numerous contributions to local charities and organizations.
