People were very friendly and the hotel was very cool but our sheets had a big stain on them and we didn't even sleep under them because who the heck knows what it is. Wish we didn't get in so late so we could've given staff the chance to make right but it's still disappointing. Gave three because I feel they would've fixed but shouldn't have had to ask for clean sheets.

Clean, quiet and has loads of character- definitely prefer over a modern hotel chain. Fast Wifi as well. Marking down one star for lack of fridge in the room, but would be happy to stay again. Great to be able to have plenty of dinner and breakfast options within walking distance (no breakfast available at the hotel when we stayed).

A clean, cozy, historic hotel on the National Register of Historic Places located right in the middle of downtown Boulder City, within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants and bars. Nicely restored with charming decor and accomodating staff. It features a classy downstairs bar and a restaurant upstairs that serves delicious fare for breakfast and lunch. Oh, also a cool museum inside tells the history of the Hoover Dam and the consequent birth of Boulder City.

Highly recommended over any chain establishment. - the location it's really good, perfect to explore boulder city.
If you're looking to stay in town check it out.
If you're thinking to stay in Vegas for your trip to the east, reconsider that and book this piece of history instead.
4 stars because the hotels lacks on extra services and because its age - part of the charm - could disappoint someone.

This is an historic facility that was extremely comfortable and of high quality (this included everything from furnishings to bedding to the bathroom facilities). The price value ratio was extraordinary. Everything we experienced and the staff were 5-star! Definitely a gold nugget of a find for us.
This will be our “go to” hotel in the Vegas area from now on.

Loved this place, can wait until we return. Vince was one of a kind, accommodating, went above and beyond the call of duty. When arriving he came out to meet us and showed my husband where to park. We're hot shot drivers and we were hauling. Suggested the sushi restaurant across the street and we took him up on it. Quite and comfy room. Loved everything about it except the shower curtain that's all. Beautiful historic place, amazing wood work and building. If your in the area its a must see. I also would like to say that you to the over night front desk woman, she was very kind as well. Sorry I

The hotel was clean and our room smelled amazing (unlike most older hotels). The workers were friendly. The museum is a very nice addition and had good quality exhibits. We went to the speakeasy on a Sunday night at 7pm and we were so delighted with the live music and well made drinks. We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and it was so good! We got the omelet and breakfast potatoes and it was delicious. It was such a cool place with so much history. We will definitely be back one day.
