I am Melissa Palmeri and am a native New Yorker, born and raised! I currently live on beautiful Long Island with my husband and three children. I am a vacation rental owner too and understand what it takes to run a successful vacation rental business. My husband Rob and I have lived on Long Island our entire lives and could not think of a better place to raise our three children.

I can't say enough good things about "New York Rental by Owner"
and those who run the service. I started with their service two years
ago after leaving another rental service that I was most unhappy
with. First off "NY Rental By Owner " does not double dip -- therefor
the owner is allowed to talk with the renter before sending out a
contract. Their rates are reasonable and most of all you can
contact them by one quick phone call if you have a listing problem.
So far all renters that I have taken through them have been A+ I am
thankful every rental season that another neighbor in The Finger

We hired Melissa and her talented team in the Spring of 2020. New to the rental game, Melissa was patient with us walking us through her program. Melissa was instrumental in getting us activated quickly and efficiently. In terms of results, they were simply amazing. This platform is the best revenue generating site by far across our entire portfolio of rental sites. In addition, the cost effectiveness and value is superior. NY Rental by Owner has been a BIG PLUS this year during the pandemic, and I expect it to continue to be the same in the future. We own 5 lodges on the St. Lawrence River, and this year New Yorkers wanted to stay in New York to vacation, and they were able to easily find us on the NY Rental by Owner site. The staff are very easy to reach and responsive to questions which makes using the application a snap!

We listed our lovely property with New York Rental by Owner and immediately saw our reach increase by orders of magnitude. Not only are the guests able to contact us directly, but NYRBO are genuinely interested in helping us to grow our rentals. Every step of the way they have helped us with our listing, our planning and our business has immediately yielded results. The comparison with VRBO is laughable. Needless to say we are taking our business off of VRBO and have switched 100%. The personal service and ease of use of NYRBO is incomparable.

Great local support. We booked the month of July a weeks after using this service. Within 3 weeks booked 3 more weeks . Dealing directly with the guests makes a lot more profit then using the “other “ guys. Melissa is quick to respond when you have questions.
