Very rude workers. God forbid you don't have your mask on, lady will Chase you through the store! Instead of politely asking you put one on they treating you with no mask no service! I walk out the store few times now, and many people did...

Used to be a great Russian store until they slapped a required mask sign up. Mandates are over Texas does not require masks. This isn’t California or New York. You have lost a customer and trust me after this review u will loose much more.
To your response about other ppl coming into the store that are older is not an excuse. They can take a vaccine or wear 2 layers of masks that’s a personal choice. THIS IS TEXAS NO MASK MANDATES

Unique to the core! Great selection of Russian foods. Reasonable prices. The lady at the counter is so sweet ... that she offers free masks to a family of traveling shoplifters (I can't use a more precise term d/t the current PC climate) who have no business being here/there in the first place. Please take care of her!

Me and my Husband came to the door and we are both fully vaccinated carrying our vaccination card instead of asking us nicely to wear a mask she just jumped on us very rudely at the entrance saying we could not come in without mask and we do respect but it's the way she approached us! we saw a man inside without a mask but apparently he had a condition? well sadly I was excited to visit this store being European myself but for sure we will never come here again. I run also a Business and for sure I don't jump on my clients like that.

This place was so interesting. It has lots of stuff from Russia and other surrounding countries. The employee who helped us was very sweet and helpful and gave suggestions for several things we might like when we asked. We got poppy seed bread, herbal tea, some kind of stuffed pasta with beef and pork that's supposedly similar to ravioli, several drinks and kinds of frozen cheesecake, and a piece of candy. Looking forward to trying several different ethnic foods. We really liked this store. It was also very clean.

Things that I look for when I walk into a restaurant and market is the presentation, the products and the workers.
I see plenty of Eastern European decorations and products. You can buy souvenirs from Russia without leaving the country. That's awesome .
The food products were a challenge for me since I am not entirely familiar with Russian culture but, here is where the employee came in handy, the lady working there was able to break down the products and guide me to things that I would be interested in. She was better than a car dealer and was honest and polite the whole time. I totally

Awesome food selection!
The woman running the store when we were there was very nice and helpful! I can't wait to go again and try more delicious food and get some cool decor (think REAL Russian nesting dolls!).

I've been a customer of this market sir several years. It's a place to find some German food items without having to search too far. The selection is primarily Russian/Ukrainian which is fine - I like to try new things. The problems I have had with quality of items mostly stem from outdated merchandise. I usually stick with things that aren't ruined by being a little out of date. I was COMPLETELY turned off today when I saw they were selling a t-shirt with a screen printing of Time Magazine's "person of the year" front page featuring Vladimir Putin on it. Seriously

I had to go there and check it out.
It also made me feel very nostalgic and when I walked around the store I recalled every single delight that I used to enjoy when I was little back in Europe.
You can find all your essentials here that you're used to. Soviet champagne and treats were my mission before my trip to D.C. found all that I wanted and even more!
