Child Care Council is one of the leading child care referral agencies in the country, according to the Child Care Aware national accreditation organization. We provide information, training, and resources to parents, child care providers, and businesses in Monroe, Livingston and Wayne counties.

The Repurpose & More Store offers a huge selection of unique items for sale - items that otherwise would end up in a landfill. Choose from fabrics, paper, wood, foam, poster prints, scrap materials, over-run goods and much more. Items make fun and creative projects for crafters, artists and kids - and great teaching tools for child care providers and educators.
Parent referral services are available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and additional times by appointment. If you do not see what you are looking for, please contact our Main Office and our receptionist will be glad to help you. For customers with special needs or special health considerations, please call the main office and we will plan your visit accordingly.
Our team of professional Child Care Referral Specialists is available to assist families in their search for child care programs in Livingston, Monroe, and Wayne counties in the State of New York. They are also available to assist you in accessing other community resources and parent education opportunities.
Child Care Council, Inc. offers many services for individuals who work with young children. I have been given wrong information from a few different representatives on at least 3 different occasions. This wrong information has cost my business both time and money, not to mention the stress related to have to fix “issues” which I was originally told were not “issues”. There seems to be a lack of communication on the part of the different members within the organization. I’m happy to comply with NY state laws and do what I need to do but to be lead down the wrong path by the people who are in charge is very frustrating.
