Greenbriar Gift Baskets

I was born and raised in Central Massachusetts but my husband and partner was born and raised all the way "across the pond" in England. We met in 1985 when he was recruited by a local business and I was in the process of transitioning from manager to sole proprietor of a retail hobby shop.

We closed the " brick & mortar" store in 2012, but I retained the gift basket business that I had added 7 years prior and made it into a home-based business on its own.Since I originally majored in Fine Arts before ending up in business, it seems fitting somehow to have come full circle. We are not the most photogenic people in the world, but since people like pictures with their text, here we are.

Golf is enjoying a great increase in popularity due to the on-going pandemic. Chances are there's a golfer on your gift list who would love to receive something like this! It seems that most of the themed baskets and boxes available for themed gifts tend to be on the feminine side. I recently tried to describe these socks as a component of one of my Valentine's gifts, then realized that I should be offering them as "stand-alone" items as well.

As promised we have decided to put more emphasis on our "stand-alone" gifts. Besides my own handcrafted jewelry and specialty candles, I often purchase wholesale merchandise with the idea of using the items either as containers or as items to be included in our themed gift baskets and boxes. Some of the latter would make nice gifts on their own (and don't forget to put yourself on your "gift list" once in awhile)!

I recently came across a storage box full of jewelry that I had made several years ago and I've just started designing new ones again. Most of my jewelry is made from sterling silver or gold-filled wire, sheet, and findings along with semi-precious stone, shell, and glass. These have been grouped into sets according to price so that we may more easily offer you savings when you order more than one pair.

Since I'm sure that many of you don't know the difference between gold-plated and gold-filled jewelry, here it is "in a nutshell". Gold-plated means that the underlying metal has been covered by a very thin layer of precious metal, usually by means of an electro-plating process. The plating can and usually will wear away quickly and is pretty much impossible to use for some methods of assembly, such as soldering.
