Since 1946, Genes Marine Sales & Service is a long time mom/pop type marina business supplying retail dockage and outboard and stern drive service with honesty, integrity and quality workmanship. We are located at 200-220 East Erie Avenue in Lorain, Ohio 44052, just east of the Charles Berry Bascule opening bridge which is also located centrally close to all of your boating destinations.
The marina is also accessible by water and is approximately 10 minutes by water to the historical Lorain light house at the mouth of the black river. We are a marina on a smaller scale that is able to supply most of your boating needs that also includes many in-stock items, new and used, going as far back as the 50's and prior and to the present.

Services
We service Mercury, Mariner, Force, Johnson & Evinrude outboards along with Mercruiser, OMC (Bombardier), OMC Cobra & SX (Bombardier) and various Volvo stern drives and engines. We provide forklift lifting of boats, bottom anti-foul painting, engine rebuilding, boat engine repowers, stern drive rebuilding, propeller repair, shrink wrapping and many more services.
We sell many products such as Mercury out boards-used and new (co-op sales on new) and parts & accessories, Mariner, Force, Johnson & Evinrude used outboards and parts & accessories along with Mercruiser, OMC (Bombadier), OMC Cobra (Bombardier) Stern Drive parts and accessories.
We also sell various manufactured hardware, safety gear, navigational accessories, basic diving equipment, paints, sealants, instruments, various types of switches and fuse assemblies and many, many more products as well as new and used no longer available (N.L.A.) parts & accessories.

We have under roof dry dockage available for boats up to 28 feet in length and up to 9 foot beam. The boats are launched and retrieved daily upon request from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm either by phone or in person. The morning before opening hour and the evening after closing hour launches are also included.
