I can not express how a recent purchase of my Cobalt from South South far exceeded my expectations. Jake was always up for answering all my questions and was in constant communication on the delivery status of the boat. The most important part of my experience was how incredibly thorough South Shore was with mechanical systems on the boat. I had 100% confidence on delivery day that this was as good, if not better than new. I could go on and on, it is just so refreshing to deal with a company that communicates with the customer. They don’t stick to their word or give accurate deadlines at first was told 10 days for completion then had to order a part from Japan which added two weeks which is 100% not their fault but during those two weeks they still couldn’t get some electronic work done (auto pilot , fish hawk, down-rigger wiring) so parts came in and they told me it… would be another two weeks to install electronics so had them drop it in water without electronic work because their excuse was they sold some boats and those boats got to jump everybody in line..Then the icing on the cake was when I picked

From pre-owned purchase, to brokerage, to general service, and most recently the purchase of our new Pursuit DC 266, I could not ask for a better team to do business with. The entire group at South Shore is outstanding. With Mike P.'s help, we were able to take a look through several different models and chose the Grady White that fit our needs the best. There are many questions in shopping for a boat on line , however SouthShore description of there boats , there professionalism is way above par.
Deciding to make a 3 hour drive from Michigan , it was evident , pulling into the Dealership how clean it was. First impressions are so important.
The boat was pulled inside for viewing , and was as clean as the photos. My wife noticed a few small imperfections in the trim , and was immediately reassured it would be taken care of.
The process was very smooth, professional and must say we felt very confident about are decision.

I bought my boat from South Shore Marine because they had almost the exact boat I was looking for and were in an area where they would be able to sell my trade. We negotiated a reasonable deal and I was happy with my new used boat.
It was the after the sale treatment that I was very surprised with. I feel like I shouldn't list all the things they did for me out of courtesy to them.

I was a little apprehensive purchasing a boat 1,000 miles away, but I could not be more pleased with the result. I purchased a 2020 Cobalt R5 from South Shore Marine, Mike Pasadyn did a great job of getting me all the pics, videos and information I needed. We were shopping for "new to us" boats from private sellers when I came across an amazing looking pre-owned boat at South Shore Marine. I just picked my boat up after having the bottom repainted. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. While hooking up to the trailer I noticed that my license plate was only hanging on by one bolt, but I also needed to stop at the parts department so I forgot about it. About an hour later I stopped for gas and it was then I remembered the plate. To my surprise, someone replaced the missing bolt for me. Thank you Brian and Debbie
