After graduating from chiropractic college, Dr. Joseph Snell worked in Savoy, Illinois before heading to Nashville where he owned The Joint. With a desire to provide patients back in his home state of Illinois with a more in-depth approach to health using diagnostic tools, he decided to open up CHIROSMART.

With a mother who was a nurse and a brother who was an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Snell came from a health-oriented family. Dr Snells's son, Dr. Eric Snell, has also dedicated his life to healing others, and is an emergency room physician in Madison, WI. Chiropractic was a second career for him as he used to be a psychologist.

I went here to support my husband during his appointment and I found out I needed some adjustments as well. As a first time patient..., Dr. Snell and Carla treated me as if they had known me for years. Dr. Snell takes care in his work! I can see why my husband travels so far for their services! Dr. Snell is, hands down, the best chiropractic doctor there is.
No hospital, no other chiropractic doctor , and no medicine of any kind has come close to helping me as much as he has with my spine issues.
Not only is he greatly decreasing my pain through his care, he is making it possible for me to keep my mobility itself.

I highly recommend Dr. Snell at CHIROSMART. I've had back and neck issues for years and after a few months of treatment at CHIROSMART my issues have gone away. I continue to go about once a month for maintenance.
CHIROSMART has the latest equipment for treating your back and Dr. Snell is excellent at making manual adjustments. They provide free X-Rays up front and then periodically afterwards so you can see your progress.
The building is very nice, after having been completely remodeled. Carla is the Office Manager and takes care of all the insurance filings for you. Both Carla and Dr. Snell

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Snell. We have been to several different places to fix an issue with my friends back and had no luck at all. We were starting to get afraid it was something serious he may need surgery. A friend recommended we give it one last try with chirosmart and I can’t tell you how glad we are that we did. Dr. Snell… and Carla have been amazing, kind, and helpful to us during this process. I own an auto repair shop here and town and with the labor the guys do it really takes a toll on their bodies. Some friends may know but i have severe scoliosis, uneven hips, & a blown out knee. I have never checked out a chiropractor bc of what I’ve always been told. Started last Monday at chirosmart & i can tell you they have changed my life! I haven’t felt so pain free in years!! If you need to check somewhere out i would highly recommend it!
