The therapy staff - they are amazing. The way they work with everyone. So gently, while at the same time being firm enough so the patients know they have to learn in order to improve. Your kindness and caring support has touched our hearts. Luther Woods was 'home' for seven months and it was comforting knowing Michael was surrounded by dedicated and caring professionals.
On behalf of Michael and our family we are eternally grateful. It was most comforting to me to know that [Henry] had excellent care and that his 'home' was so clean and beautifully maintained. We both enjoyed the area with the fountain. Our prayer and quiet time in the chapel [also] meant so much to us.

I just wanted to share what a professional and compassionate experience my mother had at a recent short-term stay at Luther Woods. All of the staff were extremely patient and caring for my mother especially the nurses, physical therapist, activities staff, and the primary medical director. I was pleased with the efficient communications with me about my mother's care plan and how genuinely concerned everyone was about helping her recover. Thank you all very much!

I live at Luther Woods so my view is from the inside.
It is a pretty place surrounded by trees and fauna. At first glance it appears like a resort. It is nicely kept with careful landscaping. The facility surrounds a large landscaped courtyard. Spring should be beautiful.
As for the care. The nurses like all people have personalities and lives outside of their jobs. They all have their approach but they always give the best comfort and care they can. I feel safe and cared for.
The food isn't fancy but it is mostly tasty. The Covid virus has changed how things work. The lovely communal dining

This place is a joke. the care my mother received was not always good. A few of the nurses were kind but the staff and rehab people were a joke! They didn't follow a plan they kept for in her room for whole day except when she went to "therapy" for a whole 15 minutes, where she would sit in a wheelchair. after hip replacement she should have been walking and standing! they kept her there for the money. didn't help her at all.

Absolutely disgusted by Luther Woods. The Dietary staff at luther woods is what makes it the worst. In particular the cook named Peg. She is so cruel to everyone. I have seen her treat her very own coworkers terrible. I have heard from around that the dietary staff is actually quitting because of the awful treatment they get from her and negative attitude every work shift. I would never send my relative to Luther Woods. They do not treat the patience with respect and completely ignore any of them if the task is not convenient for them. No one at Luther Woods appreciates the residents and treats

A family member of mine is here for rehab. What a lovely place to recover. The building is clean and beautiful and they have the staff to match! Visitors and patients are all greeted with smiles and welcoming faces. My family member really enjoys the therapy she receives and feels as though she is making really great progress. She even likes the food!!! When she’s not doing her exercises, she attends various activities throughout the day. I can’t thank this building and it’s employees enough! You’re kindness and support will guarantee my loved one a full recovery. God bless.

I was taken back by Luther Woods. The beauty, the organization, just everything. Until I went to the hospital a second time and was told I couldn't come back. This remarke that they have made has made it impossible for me to go to any order rehab. It angers me so much that a place could be so cold and scared of a person's asthma attacks. Thank you Luther Woods for screwing me over.
