First time at Tee Pee Campground. Stayed there for a week in September 2021. It is a smaller family owned campground on Lake Huron with direct views of the bridge and the island. The Friday night fireworks are a bonus! Sites vary in size and can accommodate the large RV down to the tent camper. The restrooms were very clean and they have a small camp store and game room for guests. There is a swimming area right on the lake and a small play area for the kids. Making reservations was easy, prices reasonable and staff friendly. They are located close to all the Mackinaw activities and offer a free

I have stayed at Tee Pee whenever I've visited Mackinac City for literally my entire life (nearly 30 years now), and I can't recommend it highly enough. Tee Pee is family-owned, and you can really feel that care and responsibility baked into the campground at it's core; all the site and facilities are clean and well-kept, and the service is really excellent.
The amenities are also great. One standout is the lake access; in addition to a playground on the beach that is great for kids, the view of the Straits is spectacular; during the day you have a great view of Mackinac Island, and at night the

Good price for the location. Paid extra for bridge view but wasnβt much of a bridge view unless you walked to the roadway. Spots are small but worked fine for our camper. Bring extra water hose / power cord as our hookup was on the passenger side vs driver side. Never seen that before. The beach is Lake Huron rock most of the way out but that is pretty much everywhere on the lake. Overall, cannot complain for the price.

This place is awesome. Low key. Smaller and family friendly. It's quiet, clean and friendly. The bicycle path is easy access just down the road and will take you into the downtown or for a ride in the woods. The beach is swimmable, a typical small rock MI style beach. There is plenty of sand for play at the shore if you prefer.

What happened to us last night at this campground was a disaster.
We booked the site couple hours before arriving. I called there and asked if they had a camp site for two cars, camp trailer, and four people. The lady confirmed they did have a spot for us. So, I reserved and paid over the phone. At check in, we confirmed the number of people and cars, purchased firewood, ice, and parked our cars at the site. Then, we went to the city with one car.
When we came back (around 11 pm), at the moment of parking the car, a man came out of the dark loudly yelling: βYou canβt park the second car here

This campground is so cute and truly kids friendly. The owner is great he seems to really care about his campers. Also a big shout out for letting us stay an extra 2 nights last minute. Perfectly located which gives you the best view of the bridge. Bathrooms are clean which is always a plus. Being able to buy ferry tickets at the campground makes it very Convenient. Six days went by to fast but will be back soon.

My kids and I loved this campground. We stayed 5 nights and had a huge spot! Was very quiet and clean! I was a little upset that the campground says all spots have electricity but our electric box was in our neighbors area so we couldn't even use our electricity. Also my only suggestion would be to possibly put a light by the front signs. Coming through at night time it's so dark we almost missed the drive every time π other than that pretty awesome campground.

The ONLY reason I'm giving a 4 star review is because I would've liked the shower stalls to be more private but I was βΊ tent camping, and didn't have the luxury of a
