Try daughter took her car in because it was over heating. They told her it was a loose hose and charged her 170 dollars. She drove it for ten minand it's still over heating. Terrible serviceI would like to update my review. 2 Aces reached out to me and re checked my daughter's car free of charge. It turns out that it was a bad thermostat causing the problem. First off the Team at 2 Aces definately lived up the the 5 star review. From my first call to set up an appointment until leaving the parking the whole team was very friendly and courteous. After leaving my 2012 civic I recieved a few hours later and had my car ready for pickup before getting my kids from school. The guys at 2 Aces made me feel like they took care of me even followed up a few days later and earned my Trust. I already recommended them to friends and family.

I love this place! Robert and Vince with their team are the best mechanics you can get in South Texas. Probably the whole state as I have met some shifty mechanics up east too! I have been going here since 2016 and every time, they have been completely honest and charge fair prices. I convinced family members to try them too instead of shady Pep Boys or pump/dump chain mechanics and they all love going here too!

My (*older) car recently showed signs of exhaustion and possible expiration, including a SES light. Finding a honest & reliable mechanic seemed daunting. Definitely not in my skillset. This was our first time taking our vehicle to 2 Aces Auto and Robert and his team are truly awesome. They fixed my car and had it back to me in two days I was impressed. They fixed my oil leak, put on a new alternator, a new overflow bottle and hose for the radiator! They also went above and beyond to recharge my AC and plugged my code in for the radio. Definitely well continue taking all our vehicles there.

My previous mechanic retired. Everybody needs a good mechanic, electrician, plumber and so on. I was so happy that I found Robert and Vince at two aces, it’s a great description of these guys, they are top-notch and very caring. Robert kept me updated throughout the repair process and gave me great suggestions on what repairs needed and didn’t need to be done. Not very often do I make such strong suggestions but this repair shop deserves it!

I used to trust them. Not anymore. They replaced a lot of things on my vehicle. This past year they told me that my car had "cancer" and I needed to keep up with having the coolant flushed at least every 6 months to keep flushing out the bad coolant. At no time did they ever say to me "you need to replace the radiator". I went to see them for this exact thing and they replaced the coolant the week before Christmas. So I took my truck in a 2008 Cadillac EXT with a fuel problem / transmission problem. Not knowing what it was, I figured I'd take it to a shop and leave it up to the "professionals" for some reassurance thinking I'd get some quality service. To say the least that wasn't the case! Whenever you have a problem with your vehicle and you want to leave your vehicle with real mechanics who give an honest diagnosis then 2 Aces is a must stop shop. Took my 97 z71 in to have my suspension looked at and Robet was very honest about what needed to be replaced and what didn't while other mechanics were telling me i needed everything in the book. Priceing was very fair and I had my truck back the same day. And i must say its Excellent quality work and all new parts. My truck is now handling much better. Thank you 2 aces. A great mechanic is hard to find, but this place has two of them! I first came in here when I was desperate for help with my car. They bent over backwards to resolve my issue which they did. Besides normal oil changes, I've had my family's vehicles in here 7 or 8 times for all kinds of different reasons and they have never, ever tried to fix something that wasn't broke. Or tried to upsell me on something I didn't need. When it comes to integrity, these guys are at the TOP. They have an incredible amount of knowledge and experience, and I think that maybe they HAVE seen it all

These guys are great! I've taken my car to them a few times for different reasons and each time they have provided awesome customer service. They didn't hassle me with other repairs. They had a very fair price for parts and labor and usually can get it done same day (depending on repair)! I 100% recommend going here.

Having tried so many other places to try and get a fair deal on fixing my car, this place is top notch! Robert and Vince are nice guys who are running this small business with tons of knowledge and honesty, something I always look for when taking my car in for maintenance and repairs.
