Anyone can feel better, be happy, and put their life in the direction they want. At the core of effective therapy is the client's sincere desire and commitment to help themselves and promote positive change. Therapy can be hard work because the most difficult task is self-examination. All therapists in the practice conduct sessions in a safe, trusting, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment.
Some of the staff is highly trained and have years of experience providing assessment and treatment services to people who are involved in the pretrial or probation phase of the Criminal Justice System. I was very nervous about going to therapy but the pandemic just did me in and I needed to talk to someone. I called several places and never got a call back. When I called First Light, I was called back within 24 hours and the office manager, John, was wonderful and helpful. I started treatment with one of the therapists in February and the compassion and non-judgmental atmosphere has been amazing. I feel really good after two months of therapy and look forward to my sessions every week. I would highly recommend anyone in this office if you need help.

I have been a patient here for almost four months. Unfortunately my inital therapist left abruptly after seven weeks because of a medical issue. I went there for a consultation aand did not like the following things: 1. I opned the door and nobody was at the reception, so I had to wait until I decided to say "hello". 2. I needed a letter and when I called the psychologist Carli Champion, she stopped picking up my calls and answering my emails. Very unprofessional! 3. Basically, I was left with no record of my visits.
