When Bayne & Ann Norris decided to buy an automotive repair shop in 1986, they had no small business experience and very little automotive background. Bayne had been an engineer for Black & Decker for 28 years. Ann was a mother and school teacher. They knew it was going to be tough. The first five years they worked tirelessly.
Worn suspension parts can create noises and effect alignment accuracy and tire wear. Severely worn parts may also pose a safety risk. Suspension checks are performed prior to our alignments to ensure the best possible corrections. Alternatively, they can be provided upon request as well. Most vehicles are designed with a disproportionate higher braking power applied to the front brakes as opposed to the rear.
Here at Brown's Alignment, Brake & Auto Repair we have the equipment and experience to diagnose and repair your vehicles brake repair problems. We can replace the brake pads and shoes in addition to resurfacing rotors and brake drums. We also service the brake hydraulic system including the brake calipers, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, metal brake lines, master cylinder and brake booster.

Be prepared to have a bunch of greasy finger prints deposited all over your vehicle and interior. They don’t bother washing their hands when entering your vehicle nor do they have the simple courtesy of placing down a paper floor mat. I had to spend an extra $150 to have my interior steam cleaned. If they cut corners on simple courtesies like washing their hands, what else are they skipping out on?

I called today to get a pricing on a 4 wheel alignment. The gentleman (Brian)on the was very honest and kind. They will be one of my places to keep in mind if needing car work.
Update: I came to get my car (Butter ) axle fixed. And they did a wonderful job. And a reasonable price. While they rest of these sorry mechanical shops will try to charge 2legs and a arm. The Big Plus for me was the honesty.!!!!

This is the best mechanic shop for all around needs I found in Raleigh. I went car shopping for weeks and drove 7 vehicles to numerous places. In my search, I experienced a wide variety of managers (talented and otherwise) and technicians/mechanics (experienced or otherwise). This place gave the most comprehensive pre purchase inspection I have ever received, and answered all of my questions immediately and thoroughly. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Honesty and experience are what I look for when I need auto care, and I found it.

They performed excellent and timely service on my car. They were very kind and knowledgeable both on the phone and in person. I appreciated receiving a phone call from them before they made any changes. And they saved me money by repairing a part rather than suggesting I order new ones. I usually take my car to these guys for a regular oil change and service. They always give me an honest, upright and the best quote on things that need to be done/fixed in my car. Most recently, I had to get my NC inspection for registration renewal. They did mention that they were fully booked for the day, but when Brian realized that it was my last day to get my NC state inspection, he took my car and got it done though they were fully booked for the day. These guys are the best and the most helpful auto repair shop in town!

Felt compelled to write a quick review after the service they just performed for me. I had a slow leak in the rear tire of my BMW and needed my state inspection done. Their online appointment tool made it easy for me to get in quickly, and then their fantastic team took care of the rest. I always get nervous going into a new auto shop, but I can confidently say they have both integrity and fair prices here. I'll be back for all my repair needs in the future.
