Jairo and Mary, owners of Carpe Diem Moving, have been married for 10 years and are active members of the Princeton Community where they raise their two sons. They share the same faith, life goals and aspirations and have dreamt of owning their own business for years. They believed through hard work, dedication and faith that not only could they be business owners, but they could use that business to help change lives in their community.
They spent 5 years working as contractors for DFW's best moving companies to learn and perfect their craft. That exposure gave them a wealth of knowledge and experience, which allowed them the opportunity to grow on their own as well. In early 2018, Jairo and Mary took a leap of faith and Carpe Diem Moving was born!

A+++ Michael, Edgar and Omar were AWESOME and crazy efficient. They were very knowledgeable and did a great job moving my apartment. They did a phenomenal job wrapping and disassembling my furniture I was very impressed and I told them ai definitely would have to use them again. Their boss should give them a raise they were that good!!!

Miguel, Mason and Andrés were the best. They were on time, informative, answered my questions and very, very polite. I would definitely be hiring them again if I needed to move. They took care of my items and placed them in the new home wherever I needed it to go. Sometimes, I’d try and pick up an item to move and one of them would say “you just rest. I got it. Where do you need it to go?” Almost brought tears to my eyes the way that the crew was so helpful. That’s hard to find any more but you could tell these guys cared.

They are very sweet and respectful.
Took care of my things like its their own and was flawless the whole time.
And if they are not gonna be liable if some stuffs were to be damage because of my own decision then they'll inform you before even touching the stuffs.
I would hire them again on my next move!
And i do reccomend them very much.

Kevin and his crew were exceedingly polite and gentle with our things! They worked quickly and cheerfully, and seemed tireless even though it was a HOT August day in Texas. They moved our 4 bedroom house from Arlington TX to Athens TX with professionalism, and even indulged my attempts at conversational Spanish with good humor. There were small damages, but there will ALWAYS be a little damage in a move, and it was only a flimsy particle board bookcase and a scratch here or there.

I can’t say enough good things about my move. I had an emergency and needed to move out within HOURS on the same day and they came out and exceeded my expectations!! This was BY FAR the best service I’ve ever had with any move. Kevin, Luis, and Miguel took the best care of my items. I have very heavy and fragile items like vintage arcade games and they all came in one piece zero damage whatsoever! Their professionalism is top notch! They came out within 2 hours of me calling them and had a smile on their faces the entire time moving my stuff in 100 degree weather! I was recommended to them

This is the BEST moving company - we have never had one that took such good care of all our things - everything was wrapped and put on the truck and taken off the truck with great care!! Absolutely the worst experience of my life. We confirmed several times during the week before the move on Saturday the 23rd. Carpe Diem called me at 5:30 Friday Night to cancel the move that was scheduled for Saturday at 8AM (what type of business does that??) I have emails from May 15th, May 18th, and May 20th confirming besides several phone calls
We then rescheduled from Sunday, but I had already begun moving boxes, personal items, and etc - so I had friends come over and help move everything but the safe on Friday Night. When I spoke to Maria at Carpe Diem - to get the estimate I gave them

I chose Carpe Diem for my move after reviewing several other moving companies and receiving several estimates. Carpe Diem gave me an estimate of $400-$500 for my move, based off of information asked about my move. When the movers were done, I was charged $900. They did NOT have to do anything but move furniture and boxes out of my old place and into the new one. I lived in a 2 bedroom, little over 1,000 sq. ft. apartment and moved into one smaller, both on the second floor. I have a loveseat, 2 person couch, two beds, a few clothes, more books than anything, and was charged $900 to move from Plano

Mark and Fred were awesome movers. They took care of my fragile items, and wrapped up my furniture; nothing arrived broken. They were quick and got me moved in to my new place within 3 hours. They also dumped a bed that I needed to get rid of. I will definitely be using Carpe Diem again!
