I work very hard to help you - listening, validating, researching and challenging you to see what's healthy and what isn't. I believe counseling heals - talking, acknowledging pain and creating new strategies is the way towards peace. I am a divorce expert and can help you and your children navigate and thrive during the transition.
There is hope to find peace. Sometimes you need to talk it out with a professional counselor who can guide you through the challenges of everyday life. Using an eclectic mix of therapeutic interventions and creativity, I can help you unblock, release and gain confidence. Whether this is a new issue, or an old hurt, I can help you work through it and move on.
You are not your diagnosis. In order for me to bill your insurance, I have to assign you with a mental health diagnosis from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual V - used by psychiatrists, psychologist, social workers, licensed professional counselors and the medical community. The diagnosis has to be serious enough to warrant payment from an insurance company because they won't pay for all diagnosis.

As I read through some of the comments in these reviews, I can’t help but reflect back on an interaction that I had some time ago with this woman. I was never a client, but the initial inquiry that I had made by telephone now speaks volumes to me: The bad treatment I received during that call wasn’t “just for me”.

She took lots of money from me and just when I starting to feel better she kicked me out. She said I don't talk as much as other patients and and told me I was good and didn't need her help. Now remind you this was right after taking my $100.00 I was kicked out, no refund-nothing after being there 10-15 minutes max. I would only recommend that nobody wastes time and money to see you. You sent me back into deep depression and will never forget that. PEOPLE STAY AWAY!!!!!! I gave 1 star because I could not leave zero.

Angie has given me a whole new perspective on life. She has guided me & helped me understand the events that have made me who I am. Angela has been a tremendous help to myself and my family with her straightforward and caring approach to guiding us to the right path. Best place ever! I have went to her for about 6 years and she has helped me through some of the darkest experiences of my life. She has brought so much joy and happiness to me through therapy. She has taught me to love myself as well as my favorite hobbies. Still currently helps me through any struggles I have and is very flexible with scheduling! Love her!

I am a big believer in therapy and was happy to send my kids when needed. We tried many therapists after a bad divorce. Angie really knew how to talk to my son in a way that made him excited to come to therapy and excited to make the changes that he needed to make. I think that Angie is very connected to the way that kids live today and the new challenges that they face. I have nothing but respect and awe for what she does. Highly recommend.
