Services
Family medicine's cornerstone is an ongoing, personal patient-physician relationship focusing on integrated care. As a Board-Certified Family Physician, Dr. Romero specializes in the care of chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, weight management, thyroid disorders, anxiety/depression, among other medical conditions.
Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a model of healthcare that puts patients first. It does not accept insurance therefore is able to provide no rush, personalized, and accessible care to the patient. SHINE DPC is a family medicine medical clinic run by Dr. Frances I. Romero, that specializes in providing personal, comprehensive, and accessible care to her patients.
Romero is hands down one of the greatest doctors I have ever had and will continue to use. Easy on the pocket with affordable rates, but the quality of service is priceless. Dr. Romero in my opinion really cares about each patient and helps to pinpoint the true source of any issue. Dr. Romero is first class. Not only has she provided forward thinking care but she’s also been there in times of acute distress. She’s a wealth of knowledge and I feel empowered knowing she’s my doctor. She’s on the cutting edge and quick to get to the root of an issue. Her wonderful assistant Lexi is whip smart and on top of it all. Whether via virtual visits or in-office, know you’re in good hands with the Shine Direct team.

From the second I met Dr. Romero, I felt at ease, cared for, and immediately trusted her. She is ridiculously smart, witty, and clearly cares about her patients and loves what she does.
The monthly membership plan includes unlimited office visits when needed, access to text messaging and video calls with Dr. Romero for minor issues or questions. Every visit I have scheduled has been same day or next day. Most regular doctor offices

We were at a direct primary care practice in Colorado. When we told out doctor we were moving, he researched the area, called around, and found Shine DPC. He had all of our charts sent over to Dr. Romero and had our initial appointment set up for us when we arrived.

Dr. Romero is the most awesome doctor I have ever had. She has the best bedside manner and her attention to detail and knowledge is superb. I know that my health and well being are in good hands with Dr. Romero. I have never had a doctor that responds so quickly when I have a question or concern. I will NEVER leave her as long as she is practicing medicine. She is one in a million!!!!

Dr Romero is absolutely fantastic! Her knowledge is incomparable and her resourcefulness is unparalleled. As someone who has complicated medical needs, she has been phenomenal in working with me to find the correct combination of medication and supplements.
