I have a degree in graphic art, but have been attached to my camera since I was a teen. As my kids were born, I found myself constantly studying everything photography related, from lighting to the minutest compositional details, to take photos that make my heart sing! Photography is my passion, my kids are my joy, and mixing the two is the best of the best!
My studio is located in Great Neck, Long Island NY. It is about 25 minutes from NYC, right at the border of Nassau County and Queens, New York. The studio is fully equipped with props, wraps, headbands, rompers and just about everything needed to create beautiful photographic portraits of your newborn or baby's milestones.
Newborn sessions take place in my home photo studio located in Great Neck, Long Island, NY, when your baby is between 5-12 days old. My studio is fully equipped with an abundance of beautiful wraps, backdrops and props to style your newborn session. Your session will be secured once you fill out the session agreement and pay the session fee.
Once you book your session with me, I will e-mail you with additional information for your newborn session, but below is a brief list of FAQ's:. Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled between 5-12 days. Newer babies are much more tolerant of being posed and moved around than a 3 or 4 week old. After two weeks of age, babies start to stretch out and are more likely to become disturbed when we attempt to position them.

We decided to go with Chavi after doing extensive research on newborn photographers in nyc area. It was the BEST decision we could have made. To say Chavi is amazing is such an understatement and we simply can't thank her enough! The entire process was seamless. Chavi was quick to respond and accomodating with timing. During the photoshoot, she was very sweet, patient and loving from shushing to changing diapers in between sessions. She clearly loves babies and photography. She captured BREATHTAKING images of our precious one, we are so in love with them!

My husband and I used Chavi for my son Adams first professional set of photographers when he was 1 week old. Selecting a photographer for these photos was a tough decision as this is such a precious time for us and our son would only be small for such a short timeframe. We are THRILLED with our choice to use Chavi and the work she did came out better than we imagined. Not only did she take beautiful photos but she was so patient with our son and took care of him while my husband and I sat back and got a nice little break. This was my first time working one on one with a photographer and i could not have been more pleased. Chavi is an exceptional photographer- really professional and insanely creative! Friends have asked me who i used because they're so amazed with the quality and beauty of the pictures!
