Services
We are often asked what our labor rate is. Our labor rate is $80 an hour. But don't let labor rate be the only reason to pick a shop. Would you rather pay a shop with minimal equipment and lack of information $65 an hour? Example would you pay for 4 hours @ $65 a hour or 2 hours @ $80 a hour. Having the right equipment and proper information will reduce the time it takes to fix your car, saving you money.

If you want to save your breath and time calling them consistently then DO NOT go here. I have called numerous days in a row with voicemails and they fail to get back or me or answer the phone. When finally answering and asking for my estimate and/or final price, the receptionist got irritated at me that I was asking but they told me they would call me back for both of them. Super unhappy and they take their time and don't care about the customers time at all.

Don't bother. Communication is horrible, car wasn't done when promised. They kept my car for over two months and I was the one that had to keep asking when it would be available....should have been told the person who was to fix the car went on vacay for two months....extremely disorganized and did not fix the problem and still had to pay. Stay away!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst company of all time. Extremely rude when checking on the progress of your vehicle (that took several months to fix putting us out of work during a pandemic due to not having a work vehicle). Hey lady, try being polite to your customers when they call and check in. I've never experienced a more rude receptionist in my life. Incorrect information about vehicle issues which ended up costing THOUSANDS in UNNECESSARY expenses when the whole thing should have been less than $400 in parts and a week to fix. Kept old car parts without asking that

If you value your time you should steer clear of this place. Booked an appointment 4 days in advanced for a simple oil change and was quoted the standard approx 1hr wait time. Showed up 10 mins before my appointment time to check in only to find I wasn't even enter into the system. There was only one mechanic working, no one in the front office, and was told over two hours wait FOR AN OIL CHANGE!!!!!! What a joke! If you have 1/2 a day to spend waiting in a dirty smelling lobby for a simple oil change then this place is your ticket. If you're busy and value your time then do not take

I went to AER a long time ago when they were behind Costco and had the best experience with them, they WERE super friendly and honest. I haven't needed car repairs in years but always recommended them to everyone of my family and friends for years.
My husband recently needed his truck fixed and we took it there, they fixed it but the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.
We dropped it off and don't hear back for days I finally called and no one answered I left 3 voicemails over the course of 4 hours while they were open and finally got a call back immediately after

Sooo frustrating! They had my truck for four days to check trailer plug running lights. Finally got a call that it was just a silly fuse. I went to pick it up and was charged $94.00!!! I feel super taken advantage of. The receipt gave no break down of parts or labor. Just a flat $94.00. I never got a call with an estimate and would never have agreed to pay this much for a repair I could do myself! They seem like an ok place, but make sure you are clear about your expectations. I for one will NOT be back.

I brought my 2005 Land Rover LR3 here after the check engine light came on during a road trip that brought me through Boise. Obviously, this could've meant anything was possible and I needed to get it diagnosed as soon as possible, before continuing across the country.
I brought it to AER and they were able to immediately have someone scan the codes and diagnose the root cause as a secondary O2 sensor. Rather than immediately replacing this part, they spent time tracking the wiring to make sure it wasn't another issue triggering the code.
After some time diagnosing further, they explained

The people who work there are extremely nice and try to be helpful. But it took me going there three times in order to actually get my leak fixed. I got it home the first time and the leak had increased 100%, they didn't tighten a hose. i called and the owner was nice and said to bring it back sunday that someone would be there. Well no one was there sunday so i had to leave it over night. I was having trouble getting rides over there and my boyfriend works 24 hour shifts so it wasn't easy going back and forth three times. Anyway, it leaked when i brought it home again so i had to take
