Being photographed is one brave moment that leads to other brave moments. You probably have photos of yourself that you feel are just "okay." Something always feels missing, and I can tell you why: You've never had anyone behind a camera hold space for you. Who could accept you at your most nervous, draw out your real self, and create a photograph that reflects back who you are, and what everyone loves about you.
Photos in hand, fresh confidence straightening your shoulders, things start to snowball. You'll post an image, and friends go nuts with likes and comments. You find yourself plowing ahead with all kinds of personal and professional plans. You share a headshot and land a gig, create a dating profile, and start showing up and being seen in places you never dreamed you'd have the courage.

Picture a cheerful kid with a bowl haircut turning to a total stranger at a grocery store and inviting them to dinner. That was me. It's one of my mom's favorite stories to tell, and people who know me usually aren't surprised to hear it. When you come from a huge family, Irish on one side and Italian on the other, big dinners where everyone belongs are the norm.
Early on in my career I discovered that when people feel safe and at ease, they radiate beauty. Think about it. When you're in your happy place with your favorite people, your body is relaxed, your spirits are high and being yourself comes naturally. I want every experience you have in front of my camera to feel just like that.
This is what we do together. I hold space for you to show up as you really are, without pushing you to look a certain way. This is your brand, not mine. I listen without judgment, help you fill in some blanks, and understand quickly all the ways you want to shine. I deliver shots you can't wait to see splashed across your website.
What would it be like to be photographed by someone who feels like a trusted friend - one who really knows and loves you exactly as you are?. Where you didn't feel sized up or judged, but totally relaxed, open, and confident that the images were going to make you proud? What if you were given space to feel safely yourself, and had so much affirmation reflected back that natural radiance poured from you?
You also wonder if it's possible to "get a few shots" with their best friend, their furry companion, or maybe even one of the whole family? The session is about them, but wouldn't it be dreamy if there were a little flexibility to embrace the people who love and support them through this big life transition?

Sandra made the whole process of updating my business profile not only easy but comfortable! Comfortable with my smile, looks and presentation. I'm always reluctant to show my "real" smile, but Sandra was able to bring that out! She was professional and on top of everything start to finish - very organized and responsive. Initial feedback from those I let see sneak peeks were "Wow, that photographer KNOWS what she is doing!" Will definitely keep coming back to her for updates!

Sandra is fun, thoughtful, caring, talented and professional. Sandra did branding photography for me and She came out to my studio, looked at my work, watched me work, asked questions, adapted to the physical limitation of my space and proceeded to create a portfolio of images that expresses my personality as well as what my business is about. Sandra is a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

If you are looking for a fun, creative, easy going, professional photographer you have found the right place. I worked with Sandra to take photos of our two teenage kids as a gift for my wife. Sandra was great from the start, by setting up a time that worked for me and my kids and by providing detailed information ahead of time to prepare everyone. From emails and links to what to wear and how to make the event fun, to listening and asking questions about how to make the kids comfortable during the shoot. Sandra, besides being a talented photographer, is also a great actor ;) as she help play along

Sandra has not only taken photos of me (and my dog) that I treasure, but she is my go-to recommendation for clients seeking headshots or portraits of any kind. She has an infectious upbeat energy and a knack for bringing out everyone’s personalities on camera. It’s no small task to make shy types (like me) come across on camera but she makes it look easy. I’ve worked with her at weddings, at studios, and in my own backyard, and she never fails to impress and deliver the goods. I would recommend her without reservation for anyone looking to update their image!

Sandra went above and beyond to make our day perfect. I felt no stress at all about how the photos would come out because it was so easy to see that she knew what she was doing and was very knowledgeable on how to get the best photos of the wedding party and our guests. Everyone just loved her because of the fun energy she brought to the day. She made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera that every photo looks so natural, and even the more formal portraits have a candid quality to them.

Sandra is someone you want in charge of photography at your wedding, hands down. You also just want her at your wedding in a central role because she's amazing, in addition to her amazing photos. You truly can't find better. She knows what she is doing and does it all with a big reassuring smile. She knows how to get the best photos out of you and your guests too. She is magical! She helped us plan in advance, and then figure out what to do with the photos later. I could go on and on. She's the one you want. She even knew what to do on a rainy chilly day. (She brought wedding umbrellas that added
