Took over 3 hours to convince staff that they delivered to the wrong address, was hung up on 3 times, and told they were closed despite hours being listed as until 9pm online, I showed up to the restaurant and finally convinced the staff they delivered to the wrong address and they refunded, no show of apology whatsoever for a pizza I didn't even get. I only rate a 1 because I was refunded. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs

Sometimes, I just place an order for their meatballs in sauce with cheese. Because they're the best ding dong meatballs in Ohio and they make me feel good. Like, real comfort food
The meat is expertly seasoned and rolled, but not packed too tight. Tender, juicy, and swimming in perfect marinara sauce. Then they top the balls with a mountain of cheese and bake it into a biblically epic melty treasure.
Grab a garlic bread and you've got lunch. So damn good

Haven’t had Athens Pizza in about 10+ years and decided to order tonight for dinner. Very well-priced for a decent amount of food (plenty of leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch!). The pizza tasted great and I really enjoyed the house salad dressing. I’m sure it was slow since it’s a Wednesday night but the food arrived within 20 minutes of placing my order. Both the person who took my order via phone and the driver were very nice. Definitely recommend and will be ordering from here in the future!

Athens has been a Cleveland staple since I was a kid. I liked their pizza so much as a kid that after a visit back to Cleveland for the Air Show this year, I looked them up after 30 years and they were still there! Ordered a meat pizza and it was STILL a great pizza! Wish I could get there more often!

Always amazing pizza and food, plus they're a Cleveland staple! Athens never ceases to please. I love pretty much everything on the menu but, if your looking for a pizza with a twist definitely one to try is their gyro pizza. Also a favorite go to for me of theirs is the hot Italian sub, another tasty menu item. If you haven't already give Athens a try, hopefully you'll be a fan too!

I love this pizza!! I have tired the food from the other pizza joints around the neighborhood and I haven't found any other that compares to Athens. I haven't been disappointed with any items I have ordered. This is my go to. The pizza is always delicious and hot and it doesn't matter if you pick up or have it delivered.

The Athens Pizzeria off Denison is the pizza I grew up on - growing up in Cleveland. My mom will still drive more than 20 miles to get Athens pizza from that location. I have tried both locations and I'm happy there is an option a little closer to my house on rocky river drive. It is the best pizza and one of my childhood memories. It still lives up to the title of "my favorite pizza" and I hope they're around for many more years to come!

We recently ordered 4 sheet pizzas for a birthday party and the pizza was a slam dunk. It was everything you'd want in a sheet pizza - delicious sauce, excellent thick layer of cheese, and they didn't skimp on toppings. Prices were also excellent. I called 2 days ahead to place my order and when I called the day of the event to confirm they were aware of my order. Athens Pizza made it easy to feed a large party and was easy on my wallet. Also, yum!

WOW we got totally PLAYED by their pizza size situation... Ordered 2 large pizzas for delivery and received two NOT large pizzas!!! We realized their pizza size options are: small, large and Xtra large... So their large pizza is actually a normal medium sized pizza, their Xtra large pizza is a normal large pizza... The pizza didn't taste terrible, but receiving half the food you thought you ordered bc their sizes are completely different from most pizza places is super disappointing.

I just moved into my new home a few weeks ago, so I wasn't familiar with the West Park area. While we were running errands one day, an acquaintance of mine asked if I had tried Athens Pizza yet; I told her I had not yet, but I may try it soon. Last night, however, I decided to try it: I ordered a small Athenian pizza with anchovies as an extra topping, plus garlic bread and root beer. My wife and I used to frequent the Athens Pizzeria on W. 88th and Denison Ave. We live on West 150th St. South of Puritas, 6 miles away. Since they opened on Rocky River Dr. we visit all the time. Only 1.5 miles.
Their pizza is the best! We get pepperoni and sausage and absolutely love it. My sister-in-law came up from Florida and doesn't like pizza. But,she took one bite of the crust and couldn't get enough. Their crust is fantastic. Would recommend this place to anybody who loves pizza.

This is our favorite pizza, we order a.half sheet every friday for our family pizza and movie/game night. Its been a favorite since we were kids and now our son loves it. We get extra cheese, pep and sausage, the garlic parm wings are so good, garlic bread with cheese so good. We have pretty much had a variety of things from salads, sandwiches, fish, gyros and every thing had been delicious.

Ok, I am going to get right to the point with this review. This was the best pizza that I have had in a long time, by far. They stack the pie with toppings that are literally falling off of the pizza. I could not make up my mind what pizza I wanted so I decided to go with a small Athenian Pizza, and a small Pig Out Pizza. I must say that was a good choice because they were both delicious. The flavor, texture, consistency, amount of toppings... MMMMMMMM! WOOOOOOWWW!
