We had a great time looking for materials at the recycling center. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. We got great deals buying and selling flatware.
They even advised us to take our sterling silver to antique shops because they buy at reduced prices for scrap materials while other places buy for usefulness.
Highly recommend & definitely going back soon!

There are many stellar reviews so it’s unfortunate that I’m breaking this winning streak. They may be honest and the “ best bang for your buck” with some material but I wouldn’t recommend bringing them your sterling silver. I brought in a sterling tea service that was 130 t oz.( he told me it was 125 t oz.) I was offered $1860. I asked how he arrived at that number given the days price was $22+. He told me it was very complicated and it would take a lot of time to explain it. Not feeling comfortable with the price, I brought it elsewhere. It was weighed before my eyes% the weight was

I’ve been going here for the last 5 year. Only last week did I realize that they closed at 4. most of the time im rolling in at 4:30ish after work and they never say anything. Even help me unload my scrap from my truck. I purchased a toolbox off them for dirt Cheap and it had a key Weren’t even looking to make money off of it just want to see it go to a good home. A couple months before that I Brought a couple big batteries there to get scrapped they didn’t know if they were recyclable but they took them anyway and paid me out for them. I don't normally go out of my way to write these. But THESE GUYS ARE GREAT. If you want the truth, and want the most bang for your buck You gotta come here. The people here are fantastic and its the only place that won't try to give you the run around. These guys are HONEST! and thats hard to find now a days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Berger Recycling.

I called on a Wednesday morning for a dumpster that would handle about a dozen steel file cabinets, and it was delivered within a couple of hours. I spoke to Josh and he was very helpful in accommodating my request. I also spoke with Suzie who, too, was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely call Berger Recyling again should the need arise.

Easy and efficient place to turn scrap metal around the house to cash. I called a few other scrap/recyclers for their prices for metals (mine was copper). They were not quite as good as Bergers, also others were "flexible" as they gave a range and not a set price for the type of material I was bringing. I felt comfortable dealing with Josh, an not having a lot of experience in scraping material, this was important to me. Also got a recommendation on someone to do my roof. Will see how that works out...

My go-to scrap metal service in new england. They have always taken good care of me with solid honest pricing and no nonsense. Absolutely would recommend to anybody with some scrap metal they are looking to cash out on.
