I have been going to Salon Tereska for years, and I honestly will never go to anyone else. I have had her style my hair for dances/ special occasions and go for the basic hair cut. Seriously, this place won't disappoint.

Tereska has been my hair dresser for over 10 years and I am always pleased. I get lots of compliments and people who ask who does your hair. She is especially good with color! I never have waited more than 5 or 10 mins for my appointment either. Highly recommend Salon Tereska!

The staff at Salon Tereska is absolutely wonderful! Welcoming, sweet, and knowledgeable, they are attentive and social, but also understand the value of clients' time for relaxation. I have been going there for 15+ years and feel that Tereska is one of the most talented colorists and stylists in the city!

Wonderful staff! I was impressed and pleased that Tereska remembered that I was getting married the last time we met and wanted to see pictures. Such a simple gesture made me feel that she knew me and I was more than just another haircut and color. It's worth the 90 minute drive to be welcomed by friends.

I was looking for a last minute walk in appointment and they were able to see me right away. The environment is great. The stylist took her time to help me select the colors that would work best with my skin tone. I was served coffee and cookies while I waited. And! They even toughed up my foundation after finishing my hair. It was a wonderful experience. I was a little shocked by the price at the end-close to $300. I am not able to treat myself like that often at all, and probably would not have chose this salon knowing the final price upfront. But it was definitely a great experience and I wish

This a lovely little salon off of Metairie Road. It's super cute inside and all of the staff have always been extremely friendly. They have carafes of flavored water or offer wine if that's your thing. And let's get real, having a nice glass of wine while you're getting your hair done is pretty tops. I always see Brittany and she helps turn the mess I usually show up with into something lovely again. She also cuts my husband's hair and you can tell she takes her time to make sure everything looks right. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

This salon exceeded expectations! They pay attention to all details including cleaniness, product knowledge, and even have fresh flowers out. When you walk in, you are greeted immediately by the manager Ally or Elise. You are offered something to drink or munch on for those of us who are always on the run. During Mardi Gras, they were sweet enough to put out slices of king cake for the guests. Nice touch! Everyone is so sweet and funny, yet professional and honest. Tereska, the owner always introduces herself to eveyone, which is refreshing. I couldnt be happier that theyre a Goldwell and Olaplex

This place is amazing. There's a ton of camaraderie between the stylists, the owner, and the customers, and the stylists really listen. They are all super accommodating and kind.
My sister and I were in town for the holidays, and I really wanted a haircut, but didn't plan at all. I called this salon an hour and a half before closing time and they squeezed us in on no notice, despite it being the night before Thanksgiving. I hated the haircut I'd gotten somewhere else a few weeks earlier; I had said long layers, but it looked pretty different from any time I'd said that before

Being new to New Orleans, I had to find a salon offering Goldwell color. I stumbled upon Salon Tereska during a Google search, and it was a great find. It is a quaint little place - on the 2nd level of a small plaza in Old Metairie. The ladies are so warm and welcoming - my stylist greets me with a hug, and Allie always offers me a beverage upon arrival. Nice touch, especially for that after-work glass of wine craving :)

I have been coming here to get "coiffed" since it opened over 10 years ago which is a long time for me. I usually get tired of the personality of my haircutter and annoyed with the ambiance of the salon, most of which are noisy. Not so here. The place is small and creatively decorated. They'll serve you lemonade or water or soft drinks or wine if you choose. It is a relaxing place to get your 'do on.

I recently lived in Los Angeles and Saloin Tereska rocks. A recommendation from a friend sent me here and it was totally worth it despite the lack of great reviews. They can always squeeze me in with my odd hour requests and short notice! Nice atmosphere and it is very convenient even though I come from Uptown New Orleans.
