While discussing the results of some blood tests with the doctor, I explained that I was financially strapped at the time. On the way out, she asked casually whether I wanted a flu shot. I should have said no. Nobody mentioned that it would cost me nearly $80, and since flu shots are free at the supermarket and in pharmacies, I assumed that they were free everywhere. I've been told by them that it was my responsibility to check with my insurance first! Have any of you paid for a flu shot recently?

Very disappointed with this facility.
Front desk staff was great, the technologist who took my X-ray way fantastic, but the primary medical professional who met with me was very curt, literally only spent about 1 minute and 30 seconds total counting both times she was in the patient room, did ask for any background on my injury, and I don’t even think she introduced herself. I’m not sure if she was a nurse, PA, or NP. I would be more sympathetic considering the medical climate we’re in, and how overworked these folks are, but I was the only person in the waiting room when I walked in, and

Robbi and Mary Ellen were awesome. The office operation was smooth and I didn’t wait forever to be seen. I had an appointment and didn’t have to wait long, unlike so many other offices that require you to make an appointment but still make you wait for 30-45 minutes to be seen. Many providers neglect their office operation which is pillar for me as a patient. Robbi educated me about my insurance and was super nice and professional.

I made an appointment in November 2021 to get COVID testing on December 24th for my husband and myself. I called two weeks before the December 24th appointment to confirm the appointment and to confirm the process. I called again on December 20th to confirm the appointment and to confirm the process. Both times, I was told we did have an appointment.
On December 24th, my husband and I drove to the clinic and called the front desk to inform them we were outside and ready for the COVID testing. Then the following happened:
1. We were told we didn't have an appointment.
2. We were then told that

All the staff at the Espanola Urgent Care center were very helpful and professional. I also received a follow up call regarding a few questions I answered with concern, advice, and further information by the SIBIRT Coordinator. I thought that was icing on top of the cake. I will definitely go back in the future as needed.
Respectfully,
Andrew Sanchez.

I went here recently for back pain after my regular doctor told me they couldn't get me on their schedule for quite a while. I waited for over an hour to be seen. When I was seen, the nurse practitioner looked me over for a total of 90 seconds. She mumbled the entire time. I had to ask her to repeat herself numerous times. She did NOTHING at all to help me. She prescribed no medication, prescribed no treatment (massage, chiroprater, etc). The following day, my regular doctor's office called and told me they had a cancellation and they could see me that day. My doctore prescribed actual MEDICAL

Urgent care is terrible, the regular care is good. My husband first heard the doctor in the hallway making fun of his question about possible parasite infections from a certain bug bite, telling the nurse in the hallway that she had never heard of the disease and that the question was "just weird", then came into the room to tell him it was "just gnats" that bit him, and that he should just relax and that she would not order the blood test, despite the fact that he is having an inflammatory reaction to the bites with multiple symptoms. (A telehealth doctor through Presbyterian recognized the symptoms
