Services
Determining the location, type and size of your pump from the common list below is important for servicing. What type of pump do you have? All pumps except the "Submersible" will be found above ground, likely in your garage or just outside the garage. Submersible pumps are installed "submerged" inside the well.
Please note: This information applies to Volusia and Flagler Counties of Florida, and may not be applicable in other parts of the country. Use this information to help you better understand your system. Determine the location, construction material, water table and total depth of the well as these are important factors to know when servicing the well & pump.
Our method for installing a Shallow Well starts by mixing a drilling fluid. Normally we mix 300 Gals. This will allow us to drill 60' or more. By using a drilling fluid we can open a bore hole and keep it open to allow for the well casing to be installed. Drilling can now begin. We start with a 15' drill pipe and add sections as needed to drill the bore hole to the required depth.
Description Of Work: Well digging and lawn sprinkler installation. Member Comments: The process took a little over two weeks while we waited for the permit from the county office. During that time, Atlantic prepared the yard and completed as much work as possible prior to the actual pump installation (without violating any code/permit conditions).

I had called Joh Morin three day in a row before he called and came over. He sail the shallow well in Port Orange will be 25 feet and he does not need to pull a permit. He told it will be $800. and came a week later and had it done. He claims he uses a check valve which he makes himself and never showed it to me when I asked and in 3 minutes he was done drilling with a pipe in the ground. He used a trash pump for 5 to 8 minutes making sure there is water, but the guys told him the water is low and he replyed the pump is giving problem. They kept tightening the hose to see if it will pull more water

As president of our HOA, I have two wells with jet pumps. Both pumps failed or lost prime and I called a local pump tech. Six weeks later, I never got a response and found out he never filed for a permit. He was to drill a well for 4800.00. I got a tip from a Govt agency about Jon's Well and Pump and Jon showed up in a class act drill vehicle. He said there was nothing wrong with the well, and replaced the pump at an extremely reasonable price. He coached me to prime my second pump, the one that needed the well, and I got it fired up. Jon came by to check my work and said all is good

Great job!!! We wanted a well so we wouldn't have to pay for high priced irrigation water. Mark quoted us a price over the phone, went above and beyond to get the job done (it was no mean feat), and stuck to his quoted price. All the while, he was friendly and thoroughly pleasant to work with. We highly recommend him!!

My wife and I own some land in Osteen. After getting power the next step was water. I tried drilling a few different locations (in the clay) for a shallow well and was not able to obtain a sufficient amount of water. I called a few different well drilling businesses in the area that I was referred to but did not want to put out the money I was being quoted. I found Atlantic Drilling online and called them getting hold of Mark Watkins the owner. He didn't know me from Adam and listened to what I had tried. He took the time to give me advice and did not try to sell himself. Ultimately I wasn't successful

Prior to this project, I had Mark out to examine a problem with my existing well. His advise was obviously coming from an honest professional acting as a resource for the consumer. Zero pressure or sales pitch. His assessment allowed me to hold off on doing the job until, as he said, 'call me when you need me'. The problem didn't get worse - which was consistent with his advice - and I was able to wait.
I called Mark after deciding to do a separate project that made the old well problematic.
It is great watching Mark and his crew work. I have a tight, small yard through which Mark was able to
