So glad that we decided to book the trailer for my baby shower! All of the guests were raving about the delicious desserts and cocktails (the cheesecake pie jars were especially a hit!) and both Arlene and Sarah were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. It’s such a fun idea and addition to any event - highly recommend!

Everyone at Polkadot is so wonderful. I communicated with Sarah via email and she was a pleasure. The day of my son’s party, Christine/a (I can’t remember I’m so sorry) went ABOVE AND BEYOND! She helped set up the party as she saw we were running behind, helped me bring things into the venue from my car, helped re-arrange the tables and chairs. Not to mention, everyone RAVED about these desserts. Guests took extras as they left, I only got to have one cake pop they went so fast! I didn’t even get to have a cookie! They really were a 10/10 experience and made the day so memorable for us

We used Polka Dot Cake Shop's cool little retro trailer as the dessert feature for our son's party this past Saturday. Everything was terrific about this company: the on-line dealings were quick, professional, and clear, the treats were delicious, with raves from everyone especially about the brownies and the cannolli cones, and top it all off with a very polite pleasant young man named Victor doing the serving. Polka Dot Cake Shop: you hit a home run, and you made a great decision having Victor as your "on-the-road" representative!

Had my cake and desserts catered by Polkadot and I could not be any more amazed and satisfied. Even with all the good reviews my expectations were exceeded. All the desserts were created so well and in accordance with our Minnie Mouse theme. I had countless guests asking and complimenting about every treat. Aside from the look, everything tasted amazing too. Definitely worth the purchase. Would go back to them for sure.

I had the best experience with Polka Dot Cake. I had cookies made for party favors. Arlene provided me with multiple design options and incorporated the party colors into each cookie. And they tasted AMAZING!! Multiple guest told me how much they loved them. I will definitely be a returning customer for all future parties!

Polkadot Cake Shop created beautiful desserts for my daughter’s baby shower. Their cookies were beautifully decorated and baked very well. The macrons were delicious and perfectly delicate; the fillings were not overly sweet and were just the right amount to balance it out. The cake was exactly as ordered; decorated simply & so beautifully. The ratio of Cake to filling was also well balanced. Our guests raved about each item. The bakery was so easy to work with and accommodating and delivery was timely. We would definitely use them again and have already recommended the Cake Shop to many.

I went to Polkadot Cake Shop for my law school graduation party and Arlene did not disappoint. Not only did she make me a beautiful and delicious cake, she also made and set up two dessert tables for my party. Arlene was very easy to communicate with and answered emails very quickly. I contacted Arlene (owner) regarding a graduation cake for my god daughter. Sampled a few flavors and we discussed my cake designs. Cake was executed perfectly. It was also delivered on time. My daughter asked for one thing for her birthday and it was a dinosaur cake. Arlene delivered a magnificent dinosaur cake that not only my daughter loved but every guest loved. We provided some art work and it was exactly what we asked for.

In terms of customer service, top notch and very responsive. Highly recommend using Arlene and the Polkadot Cake Shop! Would have given more than 5 stars if it was an option.

Arlene and I had corresponded back and forth for a while in order to ensure every detail was perfect. My husband and daughter have the same birthday and I wanted to have a double sided two-layer cake for their first birthday together (his favorite book on one side and her favorite tv show on the other). My Wife and I recently had our daughter's 4th Birthday Party here. The owner has extra space, so on occasion she rents it out for parties. The space can hold between 10/15 kids plus a parent which is typically a mom. Although their were a few dads there of course including me. The owner is very nice and accommodating. She has an assistant who is also very helpful. All the kids sit down with a blank canvas aka cake and get to decorate it. The cake was vanilla with a cream filling. Thank you to Arlene and her team at Polkadot Cake Shop for creating a beautiful and delicious dessert table for our daughter's first birthday. Arlene was so flexible and easy to work with. She responded so quickly to all of my emails and also took the reigns when I had no creative energy left. It goes without saying that the dessert table looked beautiful, but tasted even better. I ordered a cake for my boyfriend birthday.. this was a huge risk for me because 1 he is super picky on his cake & the texture of the cake/frosting has to be perfect, 2 design has to be amazing. This review is long overdue... but read me!! I ordered my daughter's 1st birthday cake from Polkadot. Let's start with customer service and responsiveness: Arlene was wonderful to work with! I couldn't have asked for better communication. Now... appearance and taste: beautiful and DELICIOUS. The cake was Snow White themed and came out just as I hoped for. I ordered a banana cake with vanilla icing. The cake was moist with a realistic banana taste and the icing was perfect.

I will be ordering from Polkadot again!!

Polkadot cupcake shop hands down has the best desserts I've ever had. Arlene is so easy to work with and makes your cake dreams come true. I love her cookies (no cookie will ever compare) but my absolute favorite thing is her vanilla with lemon cream cheese and raspberry preserves filling! I had it once at a food truck event and I ended up ordering it as my birthday cake this year! The lemon cream cheese is just the right amount of tart and cheesy to break up the sweetness of the preserves!

As if delicious flavors weren't enough, working with Arlene is a dream. I have ideas in my head

Update: Arlene did get back to me and we discussed the design issues I mentioned. I think that was a great touch and as were short on time, we could not send it back. However I do still the texture of the chocolate cake and sweetness of the lemon cake were not upto my expectations.
